Those who fell for marriage, how do you cope knowing you've ruined your life?

I ruined my life 3 times and each time it gets better. Never got scammed, never paid to be loved.

It most posters are telling the truth about being scammed during and after the marriage it sure feels great being a winner

Gets boring having sex with the same woman or maybe you've given up

i agree with you on that 100%.

Sometimes I give up, the other times I go shopping on Lazada and dress her up like Lily Thai

What power would that be, and why would you need to have it?

Did it occur to you, that women might think the same about you?

of course that's why just having one partner means boring sex or no sex, most probably don't bother doing it for years on end

Never did ruin my life The first one I got a lot of money from and if I wasn't married I wouldn't have got the house The second one I just filed separation and divorce at the local court moved on with my life never been happier.

My first marriage, to a Brit for 23 years, was a disaster. My second marriage, to a Thai for 34 years, is and has been, wonderful.

I see a lot of old sods at work that never go home.  The single guys leave at 4 but the married losers stay until 5, 6 or even 7.  Sad-faced broken men that eat dinner at work 'to avoid the traffic'.  Anything to avoid going home to the wife.

How about you?  Did you fall for marriage or are you still a free and happy quality tourist?

You're trolling, aren't you?

Marriage is not something I'd ever consider:

1) 85% of divorces are initiated by women

2) Two out of three marriages fail in the first two years

3) In the UK (where I'm from) the courts do not have to recognise prenups

4) Courts invariably favour women in divorce proceedings

Um - no thanks!

Opinion: Why on earth anyone would voluntarily put themselves / their wealth in legal jeapoardy is beyond me. This archaic institution was borne of a time when men owned their wives, it is wholly inappropriate in the modern world.

An interesting and mildly amusing troll comment that I strongly suspect may say more about you than I...

You seem to think that sex is the be all and end all of life.

So what do you do, when you are not having sex with various different partners?

so u dont lose ur assets. the only reason to marry is for kids

Does it really matter when you lose your assets?

After all, you can't take them with you when you die anyway.

This is not a Thai thing wonder how many people did it whenthey were married in theor home country.

As to those that would rather work late if I was working I would be one of them.  It has nothing to do with family it has everything to do with packed BTS/MRT.  It has everything to do with sitting in traffic for hours just to move 3 blocks.  By the time you get home after dealing with traffic or the cowds you are more keyed up and unapproachable when you get home.

A;so alot of thsoe peole that stay late are the ones that will get promoted or get more work done because they don't have people bothering them about why they stay late.

No sob story here. I was married, got divorced a decade later and ended up with a house in my name.
