Then Trump can be the savior of squirrels in Pine City, NY in addition to Springfield's dogs and cats. I think he'll need a separate animal control officer's uniform for Pine City, however. 1 1

Popular Post tgw Posted November 6, 2024 Popular Post Posted November 6, 2024 I'm disgusted and appalled by the election results and now fear the future, even I'm not directly affected. I feel sorry for the minority of decent people in the USA who will have to endure what will come to them. Post-WW2 period has come to a definite end, we just entered pre-WW3 period. Scary thought. 4 3 1 2

How many of the 66,5 million do you think l thought Harris would have been a great President? 1

I'm absolutely no fan of Trump but with Trump we have the best chance of swerving that and the US just stops being the world's policeman and let regional issues sort themselves out. I am of the view that the US electorate were voting against the status quo and wanted to see change. There is a seething anger in the population and it is not specific to hating on Democrats. You can see it in the daily violence at schools and on the road. 1 1

(Like they did previously:) "Listen to what the Dems say, otherwise they wont voter for Trump next time :)" It is not just about voting for the President, but of voting for other offices too. State governments are important. US Congressional delegations are important. When Clinton was at his worst, it was reflected in the mid term elections. When the USA soured on Trump in his first term it was reflected in the mid term elections. The trend now is to vote against something, and not for something. People voted for Reagan because they bought into his platform, the same as when people voted for Roosevelt and his New Deal. 1 2 1

You got that right. Humans inhabited planet Earth for a cosmic millisecond while conditions supported our existence. Nature doesn't give a rat's bottom whether we exist or not, and it's likely we won't for too much longer. Humans are too busy moaning about climate change to actually do anything to adapt to it.
