Motive behind Methamphetamine dosage in Thailand.

Among young women(including college students), it is often regarded Lose-Weight-Quick.

That is something I have heard of more than a decade ago.

Was it lawful back then?

I remember a couple of friends going to the pharmacy for diet pills which were amphetamines, probably legal as disguised as used for dieting

Thank you for your reply.

Didn't know that it used to be the Prescription Drug in old time.

Not prescription, as you know you can get meds from pharmacies with no prescription

This has been a big problem in "Paradise" too - in Hawaii.

On Big Island families are torn apart, specially natives. Lots of violence. And it's getting worse.

Now they produce meth on island. There are so many remote places and local police know them but don't get involved. A few times a year FBI and US Fed police come and make a big show but nothing changes.

I used to have property there and planned to build retirement house. Luckily got an offer I could not refuse and I am happy about it. I still visit but will not invest a penny.

OP - As somebody already said - save your self and your good family members and leave!

They need to teach it at school, show the impact, shouldn't even touch the stuff

Why is yabba ruining thai culture?. It seems unstoppable. In my village it's taken by 80%. According to my wife. Wives are leaving thier husband's and children because they can't take anymore.

I want to thank you for telling this here. I had no idea of it...

Makes me think twice to relocate to small village or town.

10bht a pill, how many could he possibly need in 1 day?

Let's assume totally out of control, 10x a day = 3,000bht a month, not that big a deal money wise.

Let's just hope it kills him before the end of that month.

we have a few Yabba addicts in our village, but not much crime. Alcohol is a bigger problem, half the men in the village have liver problems before they are 60. reason - Yabba and alcohol relatively cheap, other forms of entertainment are too expensive for a villager.

Not just Thailand - USA, drug capital of the world - Heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, American culture is so destructive.
