A 35 year old Thai woman was reported to have fallen from the fifth floor of a hotel at around 20.20 November 12, on Nanai Road in Patong, Phuket. Police Lieutenant Chanant Mekchai from Patong Police Station and Kusoldharm Foundation personnel responded promptly to the incident, finding the woman critically injured.

Identified as Ms. Kwandao, the woman was discovered lying near a wall with severe injuries, including a visibly broken leg and head trauma, though she remained conscious.

Initial investigations revealed that Ms. Kwandao had been staying alone in Room 505 on the fifth floor of the hotel. Hotel staff assisted officers in accessing her room, which was locked from the inside. Upon entry, police found no one else present or any signs of a struggle.

Rescue workers from the Kusoldharm Foundation initially transported Ms. Kwandao to Patong Hospital, before she was transferred to Vachira Phuket Hospital for further treatment. Authorities are continuing their investigation to clarify the circumstances that led to her fall.
