Anyone ever taken anti anxiety meds in Thailand?
Its been 'suggested' to me by a neuro Dr that I should take anxiety pills to improve my life. I think he mentioned SSRI's or something like that. Anyone ever taken any of these? Actually I dont want to pop a pill like this as I read they can cause metabolic changes to ones body and be addictive. When one stops taking it I think the symptoms come back? Im not sleeping well for a long time. Its so rare that I will sleep all the way through the night that when it actually happens I remember how good I feel. I wake up most nights having to urinate and then cant get back to sleep thinking about things. It really sucks. A friend of a friend is dealing with prostate cancer now and beating it. He said that his sleep improved a lot after he started to turn the corner on his disease. Ive had a dr feel mine every year and same diagnosis. That its a little bit enlarged but they all say check again next year. Do you think this is correct? Im thinking that my insomnia problem is linked to anxiety. Any thoughts. -

What really grinds your gears in Pattaya
I've lived in Jomtien for the last year after 5 years in Bangkok. What grinds my gears: 1) Any nationality (although they tend to be Russian) who walk two abreast along the pavement and expect you to walk in the road. 2) Any nationality (although they tend to be Russian) who goes in a 7-11 with no shirt on. 3) Any nationality (although they tend to be Brits, Aussies and particularly Yanks) who don't get their round in! 4) Any nationality (although they tend to be Chinese, Russians and Thais) who don't say "Thank You" when you hold a door open for them. MY NUMBER ONE PET HATE! Any nationality - disrespectful c***s who ignore the fact that you are with a girl and come up and starts talking to her and trying it on whilst you are sitting there!!! This has led to one argument and one punch up...which didn't end well for the wannabee lothario 555 RAZZ -

First of all I never claimed raising corp tax will not increase prices. I claim tariffs do. Simple economics. A tariff is a tax who pays the tax? The consumer. You keep on throwing corporations into the equation which show you have absolutely no understanding whatsoever of what you're talking about. The fact that you do not understand this simples manner is beyond me. -

Thailand's Expats Urged to Register with TRD for Tax, Says Expert
I asked about this again today. And it is the same answer: I need to complete a Lor.Por 10.1 to obtain a TIN, regardless of whether I am filing online, or in person, or by mail. It will not be the same as my Thai pink ID card 13 digit number; apparently it will begin with "1". Again, it seems there may be completely different experiences, as recounted by others, but I can only go on what has been advised by TRD Sathorn. When I actually file, it may be a different story, but I have been told I have to complete the LP10.1 before I can file, and I have to file.
