Poke that bear and its only a matter of time before he launches you know it I know it and anyone with an IQ of more than 17 knows it.

Rubbish! Anyone who launched a nuclear strike would be extremely stupid; suicidally stupid, and Putin is not stupid! If he nukes any country he knows he will get the same back with interest! Have you never heard of the Nuclear Deterrent?

Sadly now increasing numbers of countries are closing their  doors on Diplomatic services and advising citizens to look for shelter one way or other.

Yep. No question about that. One has to wonder how it was allowed happened but it did and that's now part of history and he's continued the attack within Ukraine. This doesn't change the fact that things have escalated somewhat and the reason for that escalation is Biden sanctioning the use of ATACMS and Storm Shadows into Russia. There's no escaping this fact. This is what has happened.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear, it's all going wrong for the proponents of the proxy war.

This is what escalation looks like folks, and if some people don't stop poking the Bear it's going to be nuclear winter.

I guess the leaders of Europe that have been front and center in the fiasco have comfy bunkers to hide in when it all goes poof, unlike the serfs they pretend to represent.

The West has gone completely mad. This insanity could stop within a few hours, but no. Instead the powers that be prefer to bring chaos death and destruction for whatever their end game is with absolutely no regard to human life on either side. They don’t give a rats rear end about anyone single constituent that is in support of their policies. What a frik’n waste.

Couldn't agree more.

Since the1950's NATO has been pushing Eastward toward Russia. In 1989 James Baker, Secretary of State said, “we will not move one inch to the East!” Of course that was a lie. Russia even wanted to become a member when Putin got in but the West said no. The West has never stopped pushing Russia and they still are as Biden's handlers just showed us. We're sleeping in the bed we've made!

It would be more accurate to say that NATO has been 'drawn' Eastward. The first aim of the newly free Eastern countries was to do everything they could to avoid being dominated by SU/Russia again. That was a strong motivation for joining NATO and the EU.

That's the key reason: no neighbouring country (unless ruled by an autocrat) is attracted by the failed Russian model. Russia is not attractive, it's repulsive!

It's always been Putin escalating first. The U.S. and allies have only responded to Putin's escalation.

To be fair, there were 2 major escalations by Russia that prompted Biden's decision on the 18 November.

- 10 Nov. confirmation of North Korean troops in Ukraine

- 17 Nov. russia fired 200 missles and drones at Ukraine in largest attack since August. .

Nordic nations have similarly bolstered civilian preparedness. Countries such as Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark have issued guides and checklists for their populations, covering essentials like food, medical supplies, and rudimentary military training. Finland, for instance, launched an information campaign reminding citizens of their "national defense obligation," while Sweden detailed shelter procedures and nuclear attack protocols.

This is just a drill to psychologically prepare and condition the masses for what is to come, escalation in deliberate well orchestrated incitements.

You still either completely miss or completely ignore the fact that the US new well in advance what Putin was doing. We all did really. It was on the tele/net for all to see the massive build up. Why was it allowed to happen? Why has it been allowed to continue for 1000 days before missiles have been sanctioned to be fired into Russia and even now only into Kursk? Why hasn't Ukraine been supplied with more much need air defense systems? Why did so long for F16's to get there. Why did it take so long for Abrams tanks and German Panthers to be deployed? You are right in a way though. This would not have happened under Trump's watch and it will be brought to a conclusion under Trump's watch. As for Putin starting it I have never said otherwise. Why invaded is up for discussion.

I can not dismiss the suspicion that a combination of efforts is being undertaken to force Putin to make a move that will "justify" more direct NATO involvement ahead of anything Trump might attempt post January 20ish.

And that might involve use of anything but nuclear. Yet that could be devastation for Kiev.

Putin has yet to call Trump to congratulate him on his election. Simply demonstrate who wear the pants in their relationship. Putin even said that he will not call him and expect Trump to initiate the call. How embarrassing.

I didn't miss or ignore anything, as for you, whose only concern is money, not freedom, just full of nonsense and BS 'why's'.

My opinion is you know nothing, just, why, why, why, when don't have a clue what is actually going on behind the scenes.........🤕

And I thought Trump was embarrassing......😬

Again with the 10,000 DPRK troops. This is a very, very tiny number of troops that don't speak Russian and their training for fighting in the region is questionable and as it is there is zero evidence they are even involved in combat. Russia is losing more than a 1000 fighters a day. a massive amount of lives lost. This lot could be wiped out in less than 2 weeks. No possible way can they been seen as any real threat. It's a smokescreen. What's happening now with ATACMS and Storms Shadows being sanctioned for use in Kursk is to try and sure up the territory held in Kursk by Ukraine by taking out and disrupting Russian supplies. This will then obviously be used as a bargaining chip when the two sides are brought to the table to negotiate.

The TV tells you this is a "fight for freedom" and Russia bad Ukraine good but really its a territory dispute and "don't park your missiles on my doorstep" dispute that should be settled with negotiations.  The problem with that approach is that nobody gets to profit from selling weapons of war, the war mongers don't get to experience the glee of seeing people dying at the behest of their corrupt leaders and its all a bit too peaceful.

Fighting for freedom is fine and all when it is actually a fight for freedom.  This isn't it.

Eastern Europe has been disputed territory for centuries.  This dispute is just the most recent iteration.

Look up the history of Russia.

Look up the so-called "Heartland Theory."  A theory put forth by a British geopolitical analyst named Mackinder in the early 1900s suggesting that control of Eastern Europe was the key to controlling the "Heartland" which, in turn, was the the key to controlling the world island, the central landmass containing over half of the world's resources.  Whoever controlled that landmass and its natural resources  could control the wold.

Whether they admit it or not, that's pretty much what's going on today.  Western hegemony is at stake and the West doesn't  want to see Russia with all those assets.  Wasn't it US Senator Lindsey Graham that was mouthing off about just that?  The trillions of dollars of assets at stake? Look at Blackrock and their greed.  They already have contracts to "rebuild" Ukraine.  In return, they'll pretty much own Ukraine, but I digress.

Once you understand the geopolitical implications, superimpose on that mess a bunch of crazy Neocons trying to turn back the clock of history and preserve so-called "American exceptionalism." At least that's the theory, but even those guys have been co-opted by the greedy warmongers whose only god is money.

On top of all that, throw in Game Theory and global thermonuclear war.  Then set aside or imagine a disruption of the MAD principle. Mutually Assured Destruction.  A disruption of the MAD principle because people, by way of the crazy NEOCONs or because of pure greed, no longer act as a rational actor might act.  It all becomes a crapshoot.

Then try to guess what will happen next.  The Globalists are playing dice with the lives of billions of people and perhaps humanity itself.
