A tragic hit-and-run incident on the morning of November 27 along Route 344, near Ban Khao Sok School in Nong Yai, Chonburi, has claimed the life of a young child and left the mother injured.

 

The incident occurred when a six-wheeled delivery truck sideswiped a family of three traveling on a motorcycle with a sidecar. The collision caused the mother and child to be thrown from the vehicle.

 

Heartbreakingly, the child was thrown under the rear wheels of the truck and fatally run over. The driver fled the scene, heading towards the Nong Suea Chang intersection. The mother, though injured, was spared further harm as she was thrown onto the road but not struck again.

 

Rescue volunteers from the Nong Yai Foundation arrived quickly at the scene, transporting the injured mother to Nong Yai Hospital. The father, who was driving the motorcycle, was left in anguish, holding his child’s lifeless body while overcome with grief.

 

Police are actively searching for the driver of the delivery truck, who fled without offering assistance. Authorities are appealing to witnesses or anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.

Find the driver and jail them.
