Visa for buying a bike

Man is buying my bike, he is Russian and has a visa on arrival(stamp in passport) will this be okay to buy a bike, obviously he needs a certificate of residence also.

Yeah fine in Pattaya, i bought one on a tourist visa, Bangkok may be different due to the residence cert

I believe a foreigner must have a copy of a visa, as well as you, to sell it.

Well yes I know that  My Question was about his type of visa.

Some DLT offices are different in this respect, even on different days the sane office might respond differently...! 

 

In Phuket having the certificate of residence is the key, not what visa is stamped in passport...
