You apparently didn't read the Hur Report, nor the House Committee records on the Biden Crime Family investigation.  He's got plenty to worry about, right after his protections as the sitting president end.   As a practical matter, there was no way they could impeach him with a Dem majority in the senate.  Once he's a private citizen the gloves can come off.

 

Keep in mind, the Hur Report just recommended not pressing charges.  That recommendation isn't binding on the next DOJ.  You really ought to read the House reports if you want to know all they have on the Bidens.  Not just Joe.  And now that Hunter can't stand behind the 5th amendment protections, they can haul his butt in and depose him.  But they need to do it after the blanket pardon, so he can't lie and get away with it.

Correct.   Hunter is free, while a myriad of others that committed the same and lesser crimes are incarcerated presently.

Hur's report stated that there was no prove of willful intent, End of story even for Trump's DOJ. The House Oversight spent considerable time in their investigation and found no evidence of wrongdoing by Joe Biden. The report also didn't had any spefic articles of impeachment. No crime no charge even if the GOP continue to spend tax payers money on a wild goose chase.

Give this a few days. The language used in this pardon is extraordinary. 

 

It is astounding that a serving President has accused his own agencies of corruption and political targeting. 

 

The Democrat defenses written on this forum are moronic. These people don't understand the true meaning of what has happened here and been committed to government record. 

 

I've already read enraged texts by high profile Democrat supporters. I've also seen law Professors stirring. 

 

Biden has declared war on the FBI and DOJ. He is expected to also pardon his brother in January.

I have spoken to many experts in addiction. Experts that will tell you the REALITY of addiction - like "hitting rock bottom" for most people is not them getting a wake up call - it's them running out of money to get more drugs. 

 

AA of course say "everyone is an alcoholic forever" - it's nonsense - old, dated claptrap from their founder.

 

And it helps to boost their numbers. Hence the "lost souls" there - addicted to meetings, still going after 25 years clean, Still convincing themselves they are addicted. I think they are just lonely. And that's fine. 

 

Perhaps you have not experienced addiction personally. So my lived experience and yours are different. Mine tells me that with sufficient time - the past is in the past - the demons are away for good. The risk is no longer there. That you have done the last "dip your toe in the water for old times sake" - and found the 'magic' was no longer there. Maybe your journey was one of buying into what AA told you - that you need to join and be a member forever.

 

More power to you if that's what you need. It just doesn't make it true.

How do you know what if any type of addiction that I have or not experienced in my life?  I know i can never be around certain people or certain place ever again. For me "one more time for old times sake could be the last time, forever". I mentioned AA, Alanon and GA for context. This does not mean I fully buy into any those type of programs. It is true I have encountered some who can "casually" use cocaine and "live a normal" life.  But I have encountered the tragic side as well. 

Lastly fentanyl is not cause of concern in the US now?  Even legal meds can lead to addiction. Just think of strong pain killers that doctors prescribe just about eveyday.
