Tried to rob me the other day when I wanted to post a letter to UK.
Price 1,950 baht ?
I questioned it as it was just a letter and normal envelope size, weighing very little.
She tapped away on the computer and then said 330 baht...
It arrived withing 8 days to the UK
They tried that line with the 'high dollar tourists' front... reality was though they still pursued numbers numbers and more numbers, looking to heavily populated countries.
From your user name, are you by chance in New Zealand / using a New Zealand bank issued credit card? I ask because New Zealand banks are very good when it comes to their customers making a purchase on a credit card which wasn't what it was described as. If one had an issue with a purchase made using a credit card issued in Thailand, I'm not sure if you'd get quite the same assistance.
