The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has arrested Panatphum, a 25-year-old who posed as a doctor to lure victims into investing in a fake beauty clinic. Despite introducing himself as an expert in facial surgery, Panatphum's only educational qualification is a high school diploma and he lacks any medical training or license.

Concerned investors filed complaints after realizing they were duped by Panatphum, who not only ran his own clinic but also worked part-time at several beauty clinics in Bangkok. This scam resulted in a 3 million baht loss for the victims and damaged the reputation of the clinics associated with him.

Panatphum went into hiding after his scheme was discovered but was eventually found by the CIB at a luxury condo in Bangkok, where he was arrested on December 1. He is now facing legal charges including fraud and practicing medicine without a license. These charges could lead to several years in prison and significant fines.

The Wang Thong Lang Police Station is handling the legal proceedings against Panatphum, who never completed any medical course or training.
