December 2, 20241 yr Hi folks, My non-immigrant O marriage visa extension expires on 29th January 2025 and I need to apply for the second extension and I have two questions. What would be the best time to apply before the expiry date? I receive my monthly salary in Bangkok Bank. Do they provide a a letter of proof of my income or what'sthe form I need to ask for? Thanks

You can apply 30 days early and 45 days early at some of the big offices. 6 hours ago, WebGuy said: Do they provide a a letter of proof of my income or what'sthe form I need to ask for? Best to obtain 12 month bank statement. This is 200b. Does not need to be obtained on day of application. Note; BBL bank takes several days to provide bank statement. You also need "bank letter" that shows you as owner of the account. Which immigration office? This thread outlines procedure and docs. Also has list from ubonjoe of required docs. https://aseannow.com/topic/1272122-2022-updated-requirements-and-or-process-for-extension-based-on-marriage/
December 3, 20241 yr Hi, I'm about to renew as well for the 4th time. I was told for the bank statement, I need to have at least the bank book updated on the day to show the money is still in the account on the day of application. Is that still correct? Or is it actually not needed. Also for the bank letter, does it need to be issued on the day or can it be any time (can I reuse my one from last year?)

Update bankbook on day of application. I prefer to make small deposit on the day. Shows "activity" and update. Re bank letter can be up to 7 days early however suggest day prior to application is good idea. No cannot use letter from year ago.
December 3, 20241 yr I am in the process of renewing, make sure you have the updated form 22 from the local council office confirming your family status. Additionally ensure you have a lot of photos. Follow the rules above re the bank and you will be OK

Last year I went with the proof of 400k in Kasikorn but this year I am going with BBL monthly salary which is above 40k. I didn't know I need the proof of bank account ownership. How old/young should these two documents be? As I provided plenty of family pictures last year and the immigration came to our home to take photos of us, do I have to provide the photos this year too or I am already in the system so no need for these?

They want the same stuff each year but need new pics. 26 minutes ago, WebGuy said: Last year I went with the proof of 400k in Kasikorn but this year I am going with BBL monthly salary which is above 40k. I didn't know I need the proof of bank account ownership You will need to show 12 monthly deposits of 40k (minimum) Bankbook should be fine. The account ownership is just the "bank letter" (example attached) . It shows the account # plus balance and your name as sole name of the account 26 minutes ago, WebGuy said: How old/young should these two documents be? If you want to try to use your salary, you are going to need the entire gamut of documents required for a Non-B extension PLUS the marriage-based extension documents. That includes a pile of company documents, your tax-statements, etc. It's a huge PITA which should be avoided if at all possible.
