Agreed. I think he's talking about the kind of "war" that will be over and done with in 10 minutes.

Which, if any, war has been over in 10? Just curious...

Bluesky: Created by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, Bluesky is a decentralized platform gaining traction. Its user base is growing quickly but is still relatively small compared to X.....or were you just joshing?

Charlie Kirk: What would change your vote for Trump?. Wars... Well he was the first president in 32 years for no new wars.... New war under Obama, new war under Bush, new war under Clinton, new war under Biden.... No new wars under Trump for 4 years..... Hummmm, as I was saying. All about power................. https://youtube.com/shorts/mizFLnPXR_4?si=aEyBS4RgqYrpPigN

And......

but many leaders were hesitant to start belligerence in this world, when the most powerful country is overlooking. And the USA became very weak under Biden

Your are about asoff base as they come. No significant world power is worried about trump.

The next one, if they start throwing nukes around.  Maybe a bit longer than 10 minutes, but bot much.

An example...

https://www.israelhayom.com/2024/12/09/trumps-hostage-envoy-the-president-said-he-wants-the-hostages-and-he-will-get-them/

Plus trump endeavours to 'negotiate' by tweets / social media posts

Rubbish, that's obviously not breaking any serious protocols otherwise the amount of tweets he's come out with on Ukraine would have stopped it along with direct meetings with Zelensky and others.

Sounds like you'd prefer Trump to do this which was a pointless exercise in showing just how ignorant you are on the matter.

So Does trump mean he's going to make the rubble bounce or indiscriminately kill more civilians?

The fact that there seems to be some positive movement in the hostage dealing is a cause for hope, not your pathetic and lame comments on rubble bounce

Trump is the MAN! Not even inaugurated and in effect the POTUS already. Given that Biden is out to lunch and Harris has apparently vanished, someone has to do the job. World events don't go on hiatus just because there is a transition period in the US. Normally the current POTUS is still functioning, but, well we all know why Biden isn't doing much. Never has dead duck been a more appropriate description.

I think you meant to say lame duck.  If he was a dead duck the VP would be in charge.

There is no guarantee whatsoever that trump can positively contribute to the release of hostages in Gaza prior to his confirmation. . IMO it is not constructive to have two US separate political parties attempting to negotiate, just muddies the waters. However, let's see what happens in the coming month. Maybe Netanyahu has a secret agreement with trump to agree a hostage release deal just after his inauguration.

Hamas seem to be wanting to release the hostages BEFORE Trump gets in power .

It wouldn't take long for Trump to send packaged  bombs to Israel and for Israel to pass those bombs into Iran unpackaged

Yes Its illegal for non governmental individuals to negotiate even if you think they are. They have to be appointed, vetted and confirmed. Trump cant even negotiate even though several ill-informed individuals on AN think he can. He can talk to foreigner leaders but he's not an official yet. The current govt is still functioning but some are blinded by Trump propaganda. Negotiation by unconfirmed non governmental individuals will nullify their appointment position during processing

While some are blinded by bouncing rubble.

Your right about that. Never before has a president be as stupid and ignorant than trump, except for trump the first time.  Yeah wait and see how f'd up he can make things.

I'll be waiting to see how accurate your crystal ball is.  I've even bookmarked your post.

I had understood that it is illegal for a President Elect to negotiate with foreign entities prior to taking the Oath of Office?

Trump is not negotiating. He is repeating the Biden administration's demand for the hostage release.

As a private citizen, he is allowed to do so and it clearly has not occurred to you that Trump is demanding a foreign policy win for Joe Biden.

Please feel free to explain why it is against the Logan Act for a private individual to express support for US government policy.

Over 50% of the US population thought enough of him  -  that is the only validation he needs.

Your opinion (and mine) is obviously irrelevant in the scheme of things.
