A horrifying incident unfolded in Khao Phanom district, Krabi province, where a 42-year-old man killed his teenage sister-in-law in a drug-fueled attack. The suspect confessed to the brutal murder, claiming no prior conflict, leading authorities to believe he acted under the influence of methamphetamine.

At approximately 13:30 on December 17, Pol. Lt. Adinan Modchot, investigator at Khao Phanom Police Station, received a report of a murder at a rented house in Moo 4, Khao Phanom subdistrict. Accompanied by Pol. Lt. Col. Kittisak Sommat, police investigators, forensic officers, rescue workers, and medical personnel, the team quickly arrived at the scene.

In the kitchen area, the body of Miss Butsaya "Mook", 15, a resident of Krabi, was discovered lying lifeless in a pool of blood. The victim had suffered a deep slash to her throat, nearly severing it, and additional stab wounds to the head and behind her right ear. A sharp kitchen knife was found in the sink, recently washed of blood. Authorities collected the weapon as evidence.

The suspect, identified as Mr. Dolkanee "Bang Nee," 42, was found calmly sitting at the scene alongside his brother, Mr. Arun "Bang Bish," 37, who is also the victim's boyfriend and the suspect's younger brother. Both adult men were taken into custody for questioning.

During police interrogation, Bang Nee confessed to the killing. He admitted to consuming two methamphetamine pills earlier in the day, claiming he experienced hallucinations at the time of the incident. Bang Nee stated that he had no prior dispute with the victim but was overcome with an impulse when he saw her standing alone in the kitchen. He approached from behind, restrained her, and slit her throat.

Urine tests confirmed the presence of drugs in both Bang Nee and Bang Bish. Authorities have charged Bang Nee with premeditated murder, while Bang Bish faces charges for drug use

The gruesome scene was first discovered by Mrs. Cha, 64, mother of the suspect. Mrs. Cha recounted returning home from the market to deliver rice to her sons. Upon entering the kitchen, she initially mistook the body for her younger son before realising it was Mook. She alerted Bang Bish, who was asleep in his room, and the two immediately notified authorities.

The victim's sister, Miss Monchanok, broke down in tears upon arriving at the scene. She revealed that Mook had been living with her boyfriend to help his mother sell goods at the market. Two days prior, Mook had mentioned feeling unwell, but there were no indications of relationship problems or conflict. Miss Monchanok added that Mook suffered from depression and had previously declined offers to move in with her, preferring to stay with her boyfriend.

Authorities have sent the victim's body for an autopsy at Khao Phanom Hospital before releasing it to the family for religious ceremonies. Meanwhile, further investigations are underway to determine any additional factors behind this shocking crime.

The case has sparked concern in the community, with neighbours stating that authorities had been called twice recently to intervene due to Bang Nee's drug-related hallucinations.

Many small communities and villages in Thailand are  riddled with drugs (Meth first). It's a scourge.

Give him a first place on one of those restraining tables and inject the bastard

When police are called to anybody causing trouble under the influence of drugs an automatic 30 day solitary confinement prison sentence should be applied on proof of drug in blood test. That would go a long way to discouraging people's use & abuse of drugs.

Hillbilly redneck style is alive and well in rural Thailand!

And this is exactly why they need to stop drug dealers, pushers and leaders like they did before. They don’t deserve the right to live and destroy people’s lives. Also why they need to enforce the death penalty and actually do it.

He may have been under the influnce but it wasn't the drugs it was him who killed her.
