A night meant for work ended in distress for a young entertainment worker who attended a party to serve drinks, only to be assaulted by the host’s partner. The altercation left her with bruises and prompted her to file a police report.

The incident took place on December 14 at a riverside establishment in Mueang, Surat Thani province, opposite Koh Lamphu. The 27 year old woman, known as Bee, alleged that the partner of the party organiser attacked her without prior acquaintance or provocation.

Bee, who works as an entertainer, detailed her experience, noting that the assault occurred while she was on duty, mixing drinks at the event. She recounted that during a brief pause to chat with a customer near the restroom, she was confronted by Panadda Dummunee, the partner of a man identified as Muen.

Panadda allegedly pulled Bee’s hair and physically assaulted her, leaving visible bruises on her left arm, right arm, and other parts of her body.

“I was just doing my job and this happened to me. No one at the party, all of whom were friends, stood up for me or testified to witnessing the attack.”

Bee added that the lack of support from the attendees added to her frustration and sense of injustice.

Following the incident, Bee filed a complaint with the Surat Thani City Police. Despite the severity of the situation, Bee reports that neither Panadda nor the organiser has offered an apology or taken responsibility for the attack.

Instead, Bee claims she received threats of further retaliation, intensifying her resolve to seek justice through legal means, reported KhaoSod.

The police confirmed receipt of Bee’s complaint and have facilitated her medical examination at Surat Thani Hospital as part of the investigation process.
