It doesn't surprise me he is British. They are very soft on crime in my home country and criminals are very entitled constantly playing the victim card knowing that they will likely not be charged. If they are charged and convicted, the penalties are very light. Hopefully the Thais will deport him in due course. I can't understand why he was not held in custody. Of course he's of African descent, people of many different countries and nationalities, are now British citizens. It's not always the white British that case problems abroad, although they get 'tarred with the same brush' There was a time, not so long ago, when a British Passport was like Gold, now they are handed out like confetti. 1

The over-reaction by the BiB is also ridiculous, is rather pathetic and screams of face. It seems these days (or perhaps always) the Police only take serious measures when there is media attention, but this should be filed where it belongs... 'in the don't be silly bin'... the guy fined for not wearing as shirt or helmet and told to get on his way before more resources are wasted. He was stupid - but this is hardly a deportable crime as some fools are suggesting. It's somewhat confusing that you chose to argue with me, when on the face of it, we actually agree.

cardinalblue Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago What true value does a paper document have if the technology is present to tie it to one’s visa status when a person renews or departs…As in Thai cases, registration if tickets go unpaid… the tech is there if thailand lived in the tech world…But thailand still functions in the paper world of making copies and signing everything go paperless thailand….the tech is there to do so and enforce w/o having a paper trail…in the end it doesn’t matter if the ticket is eaten thrown away or lit on fire. One can destroy the evidence but the record lives in cyberspace it’s on the computer stupid….

In my country the police will come in the middle of the night to get their money for the fines if you don't pay.... In my country the fines are for everybody the same, no matter from which country you are and in my country people are not so xenophobic as here, only when it about the money out of tourism Thailand promotes their country but as soon as you are in you will be scammed 1

I don't have problems with the law.. There are too many outdated laws for a country that pretends to be a modern country..the laws here are all fexible.. look at the date when you can do a same sex marriage.. Nobody knows yet if it will be the 22nd or the 23rd of January.. They make laws but don't enforce them, or don't know when they start.. And lwas should be for everybody the same and not for foreigners different than the own population

Thank you xenophobic person... better should show respect to others instead of shouting go home.. If all foreigners should leave there is not much left of Thailand.. Look at the factories that are leaving already and tourism is going down.. The Government is begging.......and trying to attrack more .... but people like you keep them away 1

Racial resentments may linger but the more important part is they don't WANT to be mixed out and lose their culture and heritage. Why should they? He says it best. AngryMan Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago He may hold a useless piece of paper i.e, a "British" (whatever the F*** that means now!) Passport but judging by his name and the very dark skin, my guess is, he is originally from Africa! So his heratige is African not Anglo Saxon! He probably lost his passport and his phone in the English Channel and they had to give him something in Dover! Please don't steal his nationality from him by accusing him of being a British person, we all know Brits are trouble makers!🤪 Just because a Dog is born in a stable does not make it a Horse! The same applies to passports as well! If he had migrated to Japan, would you call him a Japaneses man just because he held a Japanese Passport? No, because he sure as hell is not from Japanese ancestory! 2
rock49286 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I love the expansion of the term "British" man these days...

Any white American will have more in common with the English, Canadian, Aussie and the list goes on then a black American. Point being, what passport you have makes little difference. Should have picked our own cotton! Would have paid off in the long run.
