Revenue Department boss calls on tax residents in Thailand to file 2024 returns by March 31
My bad, I should have said tax evasion and ensure tax compliance. So I will ask you the same question. How can Thailand hold up its part in CRS without checking peoples remittances into Thailand ? -

Every government tries to tighten rules to minimise the opportunity for avoidance. Whilst it is not illegal to avoid tax, it is not desirable from a tax collection perspective. -

.. and .?? ... I can not find any location in the exemptions section of the Thai Tax form to add such as an exemption. The section/box A entry must match that of the detailed Box B. Box B has no place where it can be entered. Have you looked at the 2023 tax forms? ( 2024 is not out in English language yet).- 1

Why and how would Thailand combat tax avoidance which is perfectly legal thanks to rules they made on purpose?- 1

Yesterday, the 5G-icon showed up on my phone. Should I be happy?
Yes, I have grown to depend upon Chump's advice, more and more. In fact, he has now told me to bury my new Samsung in my backyard. However, I might not actually need to bury it myself because: There is this neighborhood cat which visits me once per day, to bury its droppings in the same place, in my backyard. Such a fastidious cat, it is, and it always buries its droppings without a trace. I might just use the same spot, and place the phone in plain site, where the cat will notice it, and bury it, as it goes about its normal daily business. These smartphones cause more trouble then they are worth, IMHO. They eat up money which might be better spent. And, they rot our brains, among other negative effects. Seems like just yesterday, we all were far happier....without them. Still, smartphones will not last forever. Someday, smartphones will become to us like the 8-track Tape Cartridges of yesteryear.
