From a purely utilitarian point of view, most murders are like that. Garbage killing garbage. 2 1

That's one of the 1000 people the cops "murdered". 300+ million people in that country and you care about these 1000 worthless ones? We should be happy when it ends like this, better than another person getting hurt and wasting tax payer money over decades of incarceration. Sure Ryan sure. Condone killing 500 non-criminals because another 500 were bad. You have sick mind. And the 10,000 dogs they kill were all very bad boys.\ SMH

Present a story with no details, must be white on black violence (preferably a police officer involved) and then throw it to the public as red meat. For all we know this prisoner just killed someone in jail but we're supposed to have sympathy for him? Sorry I don't care until they provide more details, maybe he deserved it, maybe the cops are murderers but it's too early to know. Several of the COs were previously implicated in violence. Even the CO union is disgusted by this event and is distancing itself. NYSCOPBA, the union that represents New York correctional officers, described the footage of the beating as “incomprehensible to say the least” and “certainly not reflective of the great work that the vast majority of our membership conducts every day.” The video is horrific. The facts are detailed here; https://edition.cnn.com/2024/12/27/us/marcy-correctional-facility-death-robert-brooks/index.html The man was already bound and presented no threat. The nature of the beating and the intentional infliction of debilitating injuries meets the threshold for criminal charges. Once again the taxpayers must pick up the bill for sociopath prison guards who get their jollies through violence.

In your immagined world , do police officers always behave appropriately and never participate in terrible deeds like the rest of society. Do you acually walk the same streets I do and not see reality. We are dressed up apelike beings and as the officer in the video shows, are only one bite away from becoming extremely aggressive. Common sense and maybe go a step further and do statistical analysys before flaunting your riteousness. 1

I still think the very frustated officer was cleaning his face and I watched the video frame by frame. Between 6-10 seconds is where the office after being bitten( opionion) lost his temper. Being bitten by a man is something that would cause many men to lose it but this was over the top from what I can grasp in this short video. He didn't deserve to die reardless and that is sad.
