Godfather of Harlem is back in a couple of weeks.

I thought The White Lotus was good, I kind of worked out part of the story last week, but after watching it with the wife, she had been enjoying it, then said today that it was a bunch of crap - I can see that the show has generated attention but then turned into the most un-Thai story ending. Like there was no happy ending, other than he got the girl. Anyone else?

I just re-watched the entire Season 3 of WL - so much complex signalling and crucial omens.  Such great writing, acting, directing, photography and music.

Don't Ever Wipe Tears Without Gloves (Torka aldrig tårar utan handskar)

An excellent three part mini series about the 1980's peak of the HIV plague in Sweden. I think of interest to both those who lived through that period and were touched by it and those who don't know what it was really like. Hint -- it was really horrible and the horribleness wasn't only about what the disease did. Highly recommended.

The actor who plays the Jehovah's Witness lover of the lead kind of reminds me of a young Mathew Broderick.

You can watch on youtube (but hard to read subs) or "other" sources.

Just finished binge watching the latest Black Mirror sci-fi series.

6 episodes and they were all really good.

I ever liked the future black lesbian falling in love with the 1940s movie lesbian.

Wow I watched the first EP 01 and thought it was good too.

You're not the only to think that, yet it's had the highest ratings of all 3 seasons.  Personally, I love it and can hardly contain myself to find out how it will end.  I still think Season 1 was better, but this Season beats 2 which I was a little disappointed with.

Yes, those who think it’s a soap or a drama kind of miss the point. I was sitting there at the end watching the two in the pond (trying to not spoil it) .. it’s a dark comedy. I kind of forgot what happens in S02, S01 was awesome, especially the last episode, the hotel manager character taking a dump in a suitcase, that character was great, I was thinking to revisit.

Series two......starts today!

Episode 1 truly awful. Rebellious white teen lesbian downs syndrome girl is the action hero, surprised her girlfriend wasn't black. All worried about crowded living accomodation but still seem to have 1 person living in each large house.

Completely mindless, yet politically correct nonsense.

Clearly an unpopular series—only 8.7/10 on IMDb.

Next time I recommend a series I will add that it contains adult themes.

Poor man, you must hate modern times.

Just watched a working man. Mindless violence right from the start but quite enjoyable. Jason Streatham doing what he does.

Your friends and neighbours EPs 1 & 2 also very enjoyable.

Rich Flu about all the rich people in the world dying, also worth a look, great cinematography and an attractive lead. Was that Timothy Spall as the rich guy in Alaska?

Finished the first episode of Mob Land .... not that great so far. Loved the 'Gentleman' which is from the same production team i believe.

Pierce Brosnan is a top guy, but his acting is hammy and unwatchable at times with that accent.

Will give it more time though.

I guess that would exclude some here.
