Thanks for this.  I have no trouble getting into TPB.  I could only find 1 episode of this show.  Trying again today, there are 5 (I think the complete series?) which are happily downloading (tho' only a couple of seeders.)  My VPN is set to Singapore.

Yes I agree, it was very good and I watched it over the previous two nights and can only hope that I can find more high class series like that one.

IMO the series was very cleverly put together and the acting was superb.

Seems to be a lot written up about it---I have not yet viewed---The Gardener is really a paid hit man with the client list given to given to him by his mother.

 

 

The Blurb---

The Gardener delves into the dark tale of Elmer (Álvaro Rico) who works at his mother's, La China Jurado (Cecilia Suárez) garden centre.

Under the guise of a horticulturist, Elmer is actually an assassin and is a hit man for his mother. 

However, things take a turn when he falls for a woman, Violeta (Catalina Sopelana), who is supposed to be their next victim. 

The six-part Netflix limited series only hit the streaming platform earlier this week and has already stormed up the charts.

UI'm in the middle of watching some science fiction movie on Apple TV called "The Gorge."  Usually, Apple does pretty good with science fiction stuff.

 

Anyway, so far the movie is OK.  I'd give it a 7/10, maybe a bit higher.  

 

I won't spoil it for anybody, but if you already have a subscription to Apple TV+, it's probably worth a watch.

 

The Silo series is also good on the same platform.

I had not watched Friends and neighbors, theStudioand dope thief there on Apple TV but the two you suggest both seemed a bit strange. Any other ones there you recommend?

I pay for a bundle of services, one of which is Apple TV+.  It's called Apple One, and it's a package deal that includes Apple Music, Apple TV+. Games, and 20GB of iCloud storage. 

 

I'm lazy and have better things to do than to fool around trying to find free movies.  It was easy enough to sign up and I thought the cost was reasonable. No big deal.

I'm a bit behind on my movie watching, and I own movies I haven't even watched yet.  Dune II, some of the more recent Yellowstone spinoffs, Westworld, and more.

 

A while back, I watched the Mosquito Coast series.  I'm also watching Severance, Slow Horses, and a few others.

I went with Family plan but the Apple Music has no competitor in my eyes

I didn't think it was a big deal jas007---Just curious, but as you explained your lazy and have better things to do then find free movies...so you prefer to pay a corporation.

 

2 programs that might interested you "RaidMoviez" updates every day  it does not give you movies , just informs you of every TV show or Movie that came out that day........ IMDB of course- is better when you join it (free) gives you a more detail of the TV or movies.

I find this thread we are on is good --picked up a lot of older & Foreign ones I might have missed.

 

And I find (if your not to lazy )--fooling around on the internet is OK---I used to have to do it for a living--this is more like fun.......
