But its still watchable. Just started Friends and Neighbors---starts slow but watchable--- after getting the sack and living in an upmarket area, decides maybe robbing his Friends and Neighbors---might be a way to finance himself he will arrive late find one family member dead and a wet patch but no body. If you have watched ep 6 you will understand

recom273 Posted Tuesday at 05:36 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:36 AM I don’t know if anyone is interested a new series - always interesting - it seems to have moved on from the actual waves of nazare in series of 1 and 2 - now, amongst other stuff, long term effects of big wave surfing in e01. 2
johnnybgood Posted Tuesday at 07:57 AM Posted Tuesday at 07:57 AM Luvvly jubbly geeza - Danny Dyer plays a parody of himself. A laugh of a movie to watch.... whilst waiting for some thing else to come on.

impulse Posted Thursday at 01:21 AM Posted Thursday at 01:21 AM I just dusted off my copy of Forrest Gump this week and watched it for the first time in probably 10 years. I was on the floor laughing because so many of the scenes have become memes over the past decade or so. It was funny back in the '90s, but it's hilarious today watching those now iconic scenes. 1

It is Mike White who may have made an intentional therapeutic miscalculation by alienating the entire cast in a non-fitting habitat. After going viral twice, Mike White now finds himself like Clarence, the very unfortunate cross-eyed lion of the ’60s—distinctive, memorable, yet somewhat misplaced. But something much more profound happens here. When a show is set in a place that feels familiar to me, it acts as a doorway to memories and emotions. White Lotus Season 3 attracted a much larger audience due to the virality of WL1 and WL2, but it also became a conduit for reconnecting with old friends and lovely past moments. For me, it pulled attention away from an overly complicated—and therefore boring—plot, shifting my focus toward revisiting what you’ve summarized thus far, and into an entirely different emotional space. Such an experience is a testament to the power of environment in storytelling: once upon a rock-on-top-of-the-watermelon time, there were two lovely, well-ripened seasons... It’s fascinating to watch how a simple change in setting can alter the focus and create a deeper, more personal connection to a show. Casting for WL3 wasn’t easy. Some of these people walked away. Why does a lion go on holiday? To relax and paws for a while! 😆 Or maybe to hunt for some roar-some adventures! 🦁🌴 Why does a lion like Mike White go on holiday? To escape the prying eyes—even if they’re crossed! 😆 Or maybe to find a setting where he’s the king of the jungle again, instead of feeling like a misplaced guest. 🦁🎬🌴 Apologies for the earlier confusion. The final episode of "The White Lotus" Season 3 is scheduled to air on Sunday, April 6, 2025. The finale will be the longest episode in the series' history, running approximately 90 minutes. I am glad I read the posts and just finished all three seasons. Great! 1
Andrew Dwyer Posted Thursday at 12:41 PM Posted Thursday at 12:41 PM Haven’t watched this but looks very promising. The Narrow Road to the Deep North 2025 series. The story concentrates on Australian pow’s forced to work on the Burma - Thailand Death Railway but covers 3 timelines, before the war, during captivity and decades later. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11389652/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk 2

bendejo Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Andor episodes 7-8-9 The last 3 will be released in a few days, then it's over. IMO is the best of the Star Wars streaming series. Certain Americans may take it as offensive.
Rimmer Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago 23 minutes ago, bendejo said: Law & Order: Organized Crime, season 5 That is still a good series but the rest of the Law and Order and Chicago series has gone way down hill over the last few years. SVU has become the Captain Benson show. Fire is still OK but PD where they shout from across the road 'freeze' and take on the most mundane cases that would normally be handled by a constable on the beat, and the dreadful totally inaccurate 'med' where doctor doctor relationships and doctor nurse relationships is taking over and getting boring, actual medical stories are now fewer and far from reality. The best, med series this year is The Pitt. Nearly given up on the FBI ones as well, the one with Mr arm waving shouty is beyond hope, International seems to have gotten new writers and is now quite entertaining if far fetched. SVU has become the Captain Benson show, Speaking as a native of NYC the "peak L&O era" was when Jerry Orbach was on the show. He's the sort of smart-ass guy at the deli who keeps you laughing while he puts his finger on the scale. There's a late-night comedian who says his son is somewhat obsessed with the Lenny Briscoe character, but I don't know if it is just a joke. Couldn't handle SVU, all those "I feel your pain" expressions by not very good actors. But then came Organized Crime and I was really impressed with Meloni's undercover Eddie Ashes character. But I'm disappointed they took away the kinky hacker chick. I'm waiting for that Irishman with the nasty dog to reappear. Now there is L&O Toronto, which is more Sherlock Holmes -ish. 1
