Tommy introduced some working people to an mortgage broker , and some fake payslips were used in order to obtain the mortgage .

   The received mortgage money was then paid back to the bank in the normal way .

   No one intended to steal any money from any bank , they just used fake payslips to get a mortgage and then pay the mortgage back monthly, like everyone else does .

   I wouldn't go that far , I was pointing out that his "crime" was to help a person get documents to get a legitimate mortgage .

No, the deception is the wilful  ignoring of the reason why there was a  financial fraud to begin with.  Lennon didn't just introduce the people to a mortgage  broker, he was shown to have been an "architect" of a series of crimes of which the mortgage fraud was just one of a series of connected crimes. His fraud was related to an attempt to launder funds obtained rom criminal activity. That is why Lennon the convicted cocaine trafficker, was charged with 5 others on 3 charges of fraud, that amounted to £640,000.  The 6 miscreants were also charged with money-laundering and possession of drugs with intent to supply, or did you miss that too?  He benefited from a plea bargain which saw him plead guilty to 2 fraud charges. 

 

It boggles the mind why people are defending a violent, manipulative, serial liar with a history of violent and hate related crimes, all because he serves as a convenient means of lashing out at a certain ethnic groups. If people are opposed to Pakistani and Bengalis in the UK, just say that. I have no hesitation in expressing my disdain for the islamic fundamentalists and the threat they present. I don't need to hide behind the actions of an anti social misfit because  all he does is undermine the genuine concerns that do exist. Even Farage knows that. You are  not making progress. One of the  most common excuses criminals offer when caught in fraud is that they were going to pay the money back. I will make is very simple for you.

True or false;

 

1. Lennon  was charged with money laundering, and possession  of restricted drugs with the intent to distribute at the same time as he was charged with the financial fraud.

 

2. Lennon was convicted in 2014 of possessing cocaine with the intent  to distribute, making him a cocaine trafficker. (THis was not a one off event as he is on record of boasting of his  ability to "score".

 

3. The claims he made about the 15 year old boy with the broken arm were not supported in court. However, he was  jailed because he violated the court order not to repeat the lies 10 separate times.

 

For your reference, the fraud charges  were in respect to 3 separate mortgage  transactions for a total of 640,000 pounds. He  engineered and organized a scheme upon which  money from the proceeds of crime would be invested in real estate. He pleaded guilty in a plea deal. As part of the agreement he admitted his wrongdoing. 

 

The issue of muslim related grooming gangs is separate and distinct from this man. He has fixated upon them in an attempt to rehabilitate his image to gain public attention. He is a manipulative conman and is a vile gutter dweller given to a lifetime of crime. Your attempt to excuse his long list of crimes defies logic.  If he is not your hero, why then the steadfast  defense of a common criminal?
