A 50-year-old woman died after jumping from a hospital parking structure in Chachoengsao, on January 3. Her body landed on the roof of a parked car, shocking staff and bystanders at the scene.

The incident occurred at approximately 13:20 at a hospital in Mueang Chachoengsao District. Police officers from Mueang Chachoengsao Police Station were called to the scene and identified the deceased, whose name was not disclosed, lying on her back atop a parked car. Initial investigations suggested she had jumped from the rooftop of the parking structure. Her shoes were found removed and left on the rooftop.

A security guard at the hospital recounted hearing a loud noise, initially mistaking it for the sound of a car door slamming. "I ran to check and was stunned to find the woman's body on the car roof," he said.

Mr. Somjai, 38, a cleaner working inside the parking structure at the time, described hearing the noise and witnessing the security guard rushing toward the area. "When I looked, I saw the body on the car below. It was a shocking sight," he added.

The security guard stationed on the third floor of the parking building mentioned he had not seen the woman pass by his floor. "I didn't notice her at all. I only heard a loud noise, which echoed in the building, and assumed it was a car door. She must have taken the lift to the rooftop," he explained.

Police have notified hospital medical examiners to perform an autopsy, and evidence is being collected to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
