My wife always foots the bills. I give her some money at the start of the month and she pays for everything.

Real men pay for the date with their wives or GF’s or whoever.

 

Only chumps will insist on the women pay or go dutch/split.

Some western woman will expect the man to pay.  They will say they are traditional women, who believe a man pays.  I come back with that no problem, I am a traditional man.  I will pay sure,  but as a traditional woman you can cook, clean, do laundry, and be ready for sex when I want it.  Of course, their traditional thinking never includes this.

Every once in a while she does, but she's not working because I don't want her to work, I want us to have the freedom that we have due to her not working, and I provide the bread, I provide the earnings, so I don't expect her to pay for stuff. She brings so much to the table, she contributes on countless levels, and I'm absolutely thrilled to support her and give her a good life.

This is a strange thread. The answer is case by case and according to the items purchased etc. 

 

In some cases hard to answer because husband bf and the wife gf pool a certain amount / all of their take home income and payment for meals comes from that pool.

When I went out with my wife she had to pay for her own alcohol. I did pay for the food.

It cut down on her alcohol consumption considerably.

Seems to me that when farangs arrive in LOS they leave their brains at the airport. I was like that myself for my first trip, but that was the only time. Nothing like being away from the magic of Thai women to see clearly.
