Its been a some years since I have filled one of these in--My wife (in her 60s) has been to Oz about 4 times in the past.

Have to return for about 10 days- Daughters wedding.

There are several Agents on the internet , some are sponsored By the Oz Embassy. 

They are giving the impression that you can get an internet visa within 15-30 days , there is no mention of an interview or  having to do an eye Bio-metric .

Has anyone had experience of late with getting Oz Visa. Or any agents recommended.?

My TGF got an OZ visa last April without any problem. Applied online on her own (I helped her with the English). Yes, she had to do the bio-metrics and soon after, almost immediately the visa arrived.

 

Just for your info: Her daughter was in OZ at that time and my TGF works for the Thai Government, and received a letter from her office. If I remember right, it took less than a month.

 

I don't know why you would need an agent and the additional expenses. If she provides all the documents, that's it (how it worked for us).

If you're ok with paperwork, and there's a fair bit, it's not hard to do yourself.

 

If not, get some help.

I'd be wary of any agents claiming to be sponsored by the Embassy.

 

No more interviews these days but the biometrics is a must.
