Don't get involved in a conversation between two members, especially if it's an argument.

You probably wouldn't like others to do it so don't do it.

Pretty simple.

As for judging my views on a given topic, no problem.

Go ahead and let me know if you don't share my views on Wise and Revolut.

I didn't see any arguments. Only you ranting like a madman. Reminds me of some of those other trolls who got banned from this forum for similar behavior in the past and then returned with fresh, new user accounts. Is that you NowNow?

Every time a business has informed me about a surcharge for using a credit or debit card, they’ve explained that the fee is the same regardless of whether the card is foreign, domestic, credit, or debit, because they will ultimately be charged the same percentage fee from MasterCard and Visa, no matter which card you use. However, they’ve never specifically asked me whether the card I want to use is foreign or domestic. In your case, I assume they may not want to accept an overseas card due to greater concerns about fraud or potential chargebacks. By stating there would be a surcharge for using a "foreign credit card" specifically, they were likely trying to discourage you from using it altogether.

I am well aware of what they do and don't and why. I have a business here and face this every week

Anecdotal information and doesn't address my point to you about businesses not wanting to accept foreign credit cards because of fraud risks. But doesn't matter. Leave it at that.

Ok, good. Now that we all understand that! (err do we?)

In its prime role, the one in which it was conceived and intended, Wise is absolutely perfect. I started using them following the demise of the embassy income letters some 4 years ago. I've been doing 2 or 3 transfers from my UK bank account via Wise ever since and they have never let me down.

And it's even more convenient now that they have developed standing orders for transfers. I can just sit back and watch the money roll in. What is they to complain about? Nothing as far as I'm concerned.

My complaint is Last Summer was the last time I used Wise and it took them 6 days to transfer the money from the US to Thailand so I quit using them

I don't care, bro...

I really don't.

But your little temper tantrum there is a violation of TOS on the site and could get you banned. But, as you said, you don't care, because you're used to that, and the next time it happens, you will just start up another new account and come back again. Rinse and repeat right?
