We sure don't matter to the Dem elite, who decide to keep RFK Jr off the primary ballot, tried to keep Trump off all ballots, then decided to swap out the candidate with 14 million primary votes in favor of a candidate with zero primary votes.

Democracy isn't the problem.  Democrats are.

That  is your opinion, which really counts for very very little here.

Like I care, although I will say that your country will never tell me what to do, while we are your Governments master. So my opinion counts more than yours.

If you have to explain things, its just spin.

If you didnt admire him, you wouldnt use his picture to represent yourself. Res Ipsa Loquitur.

Not really.

Lot of idiots voted for an idiot.

And when a majority do that, then this is democracy.

I think they deserve what they voted for.

The problem is we, the rest of the world. We don't want that idiot to "rule the world".

We dont care. Just do what you are told.

I hear that Denmark wants to meet with us LOL.

Democracy has failed the US.  It began to get captured by lobbyists in the late 70s.

You are 100-percent correct, of course.

Nothing lasts forever, of course.

So the question is:  Is the mood of the country turning towards Revolution?  Not yet.

What we need is another Great Depression, and then a Re-Start, maybe.

What we see now in the USA cannot last forever, nor should it.

If you recall, many of the Sociology textbooks during the late 60s and early 70s which were being read by undergrads at that time dealt heavily with social inequality, and wealth disparity...probably much more so than the reading material used today.

And, if you recall those times, there were plenty of student protests, many protesting the Vietnam War, which scared the pants off the powers that be.

However, it has been said that after those in power witnessed the solidarity and push-back from students at the time, they made it impossible for this type of rebellion to happen again. They did this through piling on student debt, as one example. Students were then forced to work in order to scrape by, and were compelled to work multiple jobs post-graduation, just to pay back these never-ending college debts.

Which meant there was much less time for thinking, and even less time for protesting.  The populace, in general, due to policies such as this became far more docile, and much more fractured.

Will there be a future time when we once again see protest such as that which happened in the 60s and 70s?

Nothing can last forever.

The Billionaires know this.

And, by the way, who will be the world's first Trillionaire?

I hope it will be Elon.

No one has given Trump dictatorial powers.  The US wasn't set up that way and it isn't about to change just because the voters got sick of how the Democrats were destroying the country and wanted to try something different.  Legally, there's a "separation of powers."  The executive, the legislative, and the judicial. The constitution was set up to prevent a dictator-like situation. And t works. Sometimes too well, as we can se from the gridlock in DC.  Still, it's better than the alternative.

Will the voters be disappointed?  Many of them, especially all the people who will lose their jobs in the coming months and years.  Not necessarily because of Trump and the budget cuts that will be implementing where he can, but because of new disruptive business models and the rise of artificial intelligence.  And that's happening at warp speed.  A new industrial revolution of sorts.

Millions of people will lose their jobs to AI "agents" and businesses implementing artificial intelligence solutions. Accountants, some lawyers, paralegals, clerical workers. Basically, anyone engaged in a mid-level white collar job should be prepared for unemployment.  And it won't be just those people. Robotics is also coming of age.  Humanoid robots available at a very reasonable cost. Just the occasional recharging, and they're good to go.  And they will be able to be programed to do all sorts of different tasks. People will be losing factory jobs.

In any event, the country can no longer afford business as usual.  The bond market is already on life support.  So it's change or else.

Will that make him Hog at Trough or Rooster on Dunghill?

It will make him first Trillionaire in history.

I know he can do it.

My only concern is that he may fall prey to the trap of Ultimate Power corrupting Absolutely.

It might seem from recent events that this power trip, which all fall prey to, has not passed Elon by.

He seems to have been becoming Power Happy during the year 2024.

Hope it ain't so.

He needs to get a grip, and get back to this core tech achievements.

Elon should just return to 100-percent focus on his Mars Missions....

One Million Man Mars Settlement.

I want to see this happen in my lifetime...just for the heck of it.
