Popular Post Spock Posted January 19 Popular Post Posted January 19 Promote the place as a place to rage and party then be outraged there are a few casualties. Perhaps there is a common cause, in which case, perhaps there will be others, like the Laotian illicit liquor killing 6 tourists. Until the tests are complete, we are very much in the dark regarding the cause. 3 4

Not that it makes much difference in this situation but opioids that most legal users need for pain mitigation have been getting a real bad name lately because of drugs like fentanyl. Fentanyl is a potent SYTHETIC opioid. Sadly and unfortunately legitimate users of, for example, Hydrocodone, (An opioid based medication) for chronic pain) are finding it increasing difficult to obtain the medication. Doctors have become afraid to prescribe it for fear of having the Fed's arrest them. It's really become a nightmare for chronic pain suffers. 3 2 4

Jingthing Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Most likely just a coincidence that both happened at the festival. But of course an unexplained sudden death of a young man is always mysterious. 1 1
Popular Post ChipButty Posted January 19 Popular Post Posted January 19 2 is not bad given the amount of punters at the festival 1 2

ukrules Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I'm going to hazard a guess and suggest that it's something to do with the alcohol in the drinks How easy would it be to taint the entire tourist industry for someone or some group with a grudge? 2 2

Franky0815 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Hopefully this will not have a negative impact on tourism
Andre0720 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Quite a-typical. Only suggested cause would be drugs, and as we know, drugs are too often mixed with more potent drugs, to create addiction, (fentanyl as it usually is) and create a regular user. Vietnamese. Origin not known for that. The so-called Canadian, Muslim as his name would suggest. Also origin not known for that.... Quite strange. But same location would suggest something available at that gathering, spiked as it would appear, and perhaps taken unknowingly by these two people.... 1 1 1
riverhigh Posted January 20 Posted January 20 "Blood alcohol levels and toxicology tests are being conducted" Until these tests are performed everything is speculation. Not to state the obvious, but I will ... lol, it would have been better if they had written the article after the tests had been performed. 1
