Spare part for my Stiebel Eltron water heater - I don't want to wait 3 months!

I bought a Stiebel Eltron water heater DDC 8 EC (STE) about 2 years ago.

Now it doesn't heat the water anymore.

After waiting for a week, the Stiebel Eltron technician checked it today. According to him the main PCB is defect. The good news is that I will get it on warranty, the bad news is that according to him they have a shortage of spare parts, and it will likely take two or three months to get a (free) replacement.

That is obviously annoying, especially because it is not so hot in the moment and a cold shower in the cold morning temperature is not much fun.

Instead of waiting for months to get a new part I checked online if I can find this part somewhere. But no success.

A new heater would cost about 6,000 - 10,000 THB and I am not really in the mood to buy one.

Does anybody of you have an idea where I could get such a spare part?

I have some electronic knowledge, but not enough to try to repair the existing PCB without circuit diagram.

Any suggestions?

This is what I need. I took a picture of the bag from the technician parts.

I had a similar problem with my Smeg oven. There seems to be a shortage of electronic parts after Covid.

Have you tried calling Stiebel Eltron and trying to order the part yourself?

We called Stiebel Eltron and their Stiebel Eltron technician visited us today.

He said they don't have that part in stock. And it seems many people are waiting for that part.
