Crime University Lecturer Arrested in Khon Kaen Crystal Meth Sting Operation
Picture courtesy of Komchadluek. A respected academic from a well-known university in Khon Kaen has been arrested in a police sting operation after being caught attempting to sell crystal methamphetamine. The arrest has reignited public scrutiny due to his connection with a previous scandal involving the drug-related death of a male companion in early 2024. Anti-narcotics officers from Khon Kaen City Police arrested 39-year-old Mr. Nakakrit, a mathematics lecturer holding the academic position of Assistant Professor, along with 27-year-old Mr. Ratchasak, at a car park near a dormitory in Nai Mueang Subdistrict. Acting on intelligence, officers searched the suspects’ vehicle and discovered 34.65 grams of crystal meth hidden inside. The operation, carried out on the evening of 21 July, followed the arrest of a drug user, pseudonymously named “Ball.” While in custody, Ball received a message via the LINE messaging app from Nakakrit and Ratchasak, offering to sell him crystal meth. Police then arranged a sting operation, leading to the duo being caught red-handed when they arrived at the dormitory. Following his arrest, Nakakrit admitted to having additional drugs stored at a private residence in Sila Subdistrict. Officers accompanied him to the location and seized an additional 1.15 grams of crystal meth. Both suspects were charged with “joint possession of a Category 1 narcotic (methamphetamine) with intent to sell for commercial gain.” Initial investigations revealed that Mr. Nakakrit is a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at a prominent university in Khon Kaen. His arrest has caused significant shock among academic and student communities. Further scrutiny of his background uncovered his involvement in a high-profile scandal in January 2024. At the time, Nakakrit, who held the position of deputy head of department, was linked to the death of a 27-year-old man named Sukittithanet from Nakhon Ratchasima, reportedly his romantic partner. According to police reports, the two had booked a hotel room in Khon Kaen and used crystal meth together. The deceased allegedly suffered a psychotic episode after prolonged drug use and was later found dead in the hotel room with a deep self-inflicted slash wound to the neck. It was believed he had broken a glass object and used it to take his own life. Investigators determined that the deceased had injected methamphetamine for at least three consecutive days and toxicology reports suggested a possible overdose. Surveillance footage and witness testimony cleared Mr. Nakakrit of direct involvement in the death, with police concluding that no foul play was involved. The incident, however, had already gone viral on social media, prompting widespread criticism and calls for greater accountability among university staff. With his recent arrest and concrete evidence of drug distribution, Mr. Nakakrit now faces serious legal consequences. He remains in custody as police prepare to file formal charges. Don't chase happiness
Yes you do need money, when you run out or haven't got enough happiness deteriorates for sure. Plenty of deadbeats pretend they have money by blowing too much and ending up going home -

That's the lefty MSM, "debunking" another true statement. What they're really doing is squelching the truth. And that's why their credibility is in the toilet. -
