Between insurance companies doing all they can to block claims, to big pharma bleeding healthcare dry, to Obamacare and everything else in between, it's definitely time for someone to shake the tree.  Is this guy the right person to do it?  I've no idea, time will tell if he gets confirmed.  But the status quo is clearly not right.

Trump will not upset Big Pharma or the Medical Insurance Industry.

He’s already removed price controls on prescription medicines.

Let me get this right.

Legislating to reduce the rapacious pricing of prescription medicines is an example of being in the pocket of big pharma.

While I agree that taking away the price caps is really bad, these two did get quite a bit of money from big pharma, didn't they?

Pretending to reduce the rapacious pricing of prescription medicines is an example of being in the pocket of big pharma, yes.

What got cheaper under Biden?

Yes, funding ‘spoiler candidates’ to split the vote of the candidate/party you don’t want to win is a thing.

Insulin, by example.

It only went down for people on Medicare, and Biden lied and said it went from $400 to $35 a month.

What does she know about politics? The last time she tried her hand in it trying to take on Hilary Clintons seat she didn't want to divulge any of her own financial concerns, she aint no angel, hypocrite with something to hide.

The country desperately needs RFKjr and a new attitude towards public health and health care. What now exists isn't working. Too many people fat, eating terrible foods pumped up with additives the rest of the civilized world refuses to allow, policy dictated by Big Pharma.

And it's not just the Democrats who are owned by pharma companies that are uniting against him, it's Republicans, too, especially National Review type Republicans. Republicans have a chance to reorder a new political coalition that can win for decades. It'll not happen if new members of that coalition are immediately sabotaged by the likes of McConnell, Cornyn, Susan Collins, and Murkowski. They aren't interested in changing anything.

Desperate for change? YES!

But THIS guy?!? NO!

If a billionaire has to threaten every Republican either vote for him or get fired (primaried) - PLEASE tell me you see how this is a problem!

Poor lefty. if there were a leftist billionaire threatening to primary anyone that voted for him, you'd think that was great.

Your posts are usually pretty messed up, but this is one of your worst ever. You could not be more wrong and you know it. You're just looking for any excuse to use your extremely limited one-word vocabulary.

Wow, guess I hit a nerve

Of the thousands of prescription drugs we see on the pharmacy shelves, Biden was planning to negotiate 10 of them down, starting in 2026.  With another 10 or so added each year, long after he would have termed out had he even run and won.  Hardly a stellar success against Big Pharma.
