Russia will never actually do even  just a real extended ceasefire unless FORCED to. Peace through strength? Be stronger. Arm Ukraine to the teeth.

It's entirely reasonable to ask for clear, easily verifiable proof. As Ronald Reagan famously said, "Trust, but verify." If he is indeed serving in Ukraine, I have genuine sympathy for his courage , however misdirected it might be—and would welcome his firsthand insights from the battlefield. Agree, he does create chaos.  That's not an entirely bad quality but time and again, the chaos he creates has no purpose and does not advance America's interests.  It's just chaos, born from "I alone can do this, tear down everything that the other guy did" but as he hires uniquely unqualified, ignorant, and inexperienced people, and ignores those who have subject matter expertise, it results in losses.  Ukraine is the perfect example.
