Booze ban today...or is it?

Featured Replies

Bars not allowed to sell alcohol today  and different sources tell me bars closed in Pattaya.

But a well known newspapaer says:

"Bangkok and the Pattaya city area are exempt from the ban due to their status as special administrative zones with their own elections. However, areas in Bang Lamung adjacent to Pattaya will be subject to the alcohol ban, as they are part of Chon Buri province."

- can someone interpret what this means?

Many bars in Pattaya are closing at 6:00pm so sounds like this bit of news never got out.

I do wish people would take a minute to look whats already been posted. Continue in this topic please.
