Sin city: Brit beaten by furious Thai bar girls over unpaid bill (video)
I honestly think he was fresh of the boat and probably did not understand how the drink thing works, it's easy to fall into that trap if you don't understand how the ladydrink thing works. Some guys think they are being scammed and they probably are but just pay up, leave and learn from the experience. I had a bit of Truman effect walking around sober in Pattaya last year (designated driver) and you realize just how <deleted> fake and honestly depressing Pattaya truly is. Like a character in a movie who has just discovered he is in a movie if you will -

British Tourist Beaten by Thai Bar Girls Over Unpaid Bill
British Tourist Beaten by Thai Bar Girls Over Unpaid Bill A British tourist in Pattaya was beaten and thrown out of a bar after refusing to pay his bill, which included a 50% markup on drinks for the women he and his friend were entertaining. Furious bar staff and women attacked him with high heels, slapping and kicking him while demanding payment. Bleeding from a head wound, the man pleaded for mercy, but a bar manager ordered him out, shouting insults. A bystander tried to calm the situation before he was forced to leave. Pattaya, known for its raucous nightlife, has a history of similar incidents.
