Thankyou in advance. If you sell a condo and deposit that money in a bank, will a be able to get a letter from the bank so that I will be able to buy another condo without having to wire additional funds into Thailand?

I know you can "reuse" that money to legally buy another condo.

I don't know who writes that certificate, better check with the bank or some official.

I think you will find it comes down to your bank and the local land office.

The answer to your Q is NO..

As part of the transfer process you will need a FET(Foreign  Exchange Transfer ) certificate.

This is only available with new money coming into Thailand.

In practice you may be able to do a deal with your bank manager.

You may have to move your money  to a bank with a  co -operating manager.
