Well now that Trump has fixed the border, he can go to work arresting the chickens for raising the price of eggs.

And you can go back to criticising 4yos.

US had 3 major problems - border, inflation and debt. Trump fixed 1 problem in 3 weeks. Biden fixed no problems in 4 years and 2 wars started.

If Trump lowers debt and inflation what will their whinge about? Dogs barking?

You confused me. So your username is sarcasm?

Inflation and debt go hand in hand? So the DOGE project, once they recuperate the funds, will drive down inflation. I think that's what Musk stated.

Wars ... yes. Trump is not keen on starting wars it seems. I was a Lennon and Yoko fan, so I'm on board with that.

The question is why would americans want permanent resident status in thailand? The country has no moral compass. They deal with russia china and iran. Thailand will forgive any bad behavior by foreigners for the right price

Sounds just like the USA under musk/trump so americans will feel right at home

Opposing Putin is the right thing to do. Period.

On that we agree.

BUT not to the extent of starting a nuclear war.  I've no doubt that in a conventional war between NATO (with USA) and Russia the Russian military would be shredded in a few short weeks,  Problem is THEN does Putin resort to nukes?  Yeah I think most of their nukes would misfire and fail.  But it only takes a few to make a very bad day.

I don't think he is that insane (or his generals would let him) but the fact he might is an issue that prevents outright ending his regime for the sake of Russians and the rest of the world.  So how to handle Putin is a tricky question.  The world can hope his successor is saner and Putin has a cardiac arrest sooner.

Unauthorized apprehensions at the U.S. southern border have decreased significantly in the past six months — by more than 70% compared with the same period in 2023, according to Customs and Border Protection.

The U.S. government attributes the dip to an executive order issued last summer by President Biden that severely restricts asylum requests from migrants attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border with no authorization. Another factor is the implementation of the CBP One app, and experts say the Mexican national guard cracking down on migrants heading north is playing a key role, as well.

That the Biden administration was able to reduce the flood of illegal aliens coming across the border in the run up to the election only shows that the flood was intentional, and likely would have resumed on November 6th has Harris won the election.

The left is still fighting tooth and nail to keep them coming in, and to stop them from beinf deported.

That's OK -- you can read page 4 this topic that Trump has fixed the border problem quickly so time to move on to something else.

I think it fair to say the administration is not waiting around for the left’s approval.

Digi Nomad was pushing the Malaysian Visas program post Covid as being a great new deal. It was a 5hit deal actually, and so bad the Malaysian Gov finally admitted so, pulled it, and went back to the drawing board.

He's not in control of what the Malaysian government does and also his target audience are the very wealthy who can handle any financial requirements anywhere. He maintains a part time residence in KL and usually spends a third of the year there. He does tend to push having three residences abroad so you never become a tax resident anywhere.

Much like WW2, you may find Putin is our ally in the current war against the globalist criminal syndicate that has taken over Europe. Remember that the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

You don't have to like the guy, but ignoring reality due simply to personal bias isn't helpful. You really need to keep an open mind in the days and months ahead, because a lot is going to be revealed that is going to shake the foundations of who and what you think is "good".

As I said - and you didn't read - the Malaysian Gov pulled the initial offer because applications crashed - nobody wanted it. It was 5hit.

The ultra wealthy didn't get rich by being mugs like you imagine they are.

Toodle-oo.

I know the scenario.

The offer wouldn't have been any problem for a very wealthy person who wants to live in Malaysia. It did rule it out for many upper middle class people and under. Obviously most people aren't ultra wealthy.

Can you actually describe who this "Globalist Criminal Syndicate" is. Are they bankers of a certain faith?

I think its become plain that Russian generals are a spineless lot. Early on in the war, if the Russian government was fairly conventional, the conventional thinking would have been "wiser heads would prevail", ie Generals, faced with the loss of a professional army that they had spent years trying to transform from the Soviety model, might have stepped in. But they didn't.

Over the years, Putin has divided the Russian military, weakening it, by creating a National Guard, that reports to him, not the Defence Ministry, along with numerous other armed formations. The Generals who are promoted are not done so through military prowess, but through sychophancy. Think of the Generals surrounding Hitler in the bunker; all useless. In the Soviet Army, Zhukov became, justifiably, a hero. Stalin had him exiled to the far east.

The Russian government is more like a criminal enterprise

https://www.occrp.org/en/person-of-the-year/vladimir-putin

If he does die of natural causes while in office, expect a scattering of the cockroaches as they depart with their loot, and a power vacuum, and likely disintegration of the Russian Federation as regional governors assert control.

If its an internal coup, it won't be lead by his inner circle or the top brass. It will be something like the Wagner mutiny, which showed how someone with a bit more organisation, could have done it. They might be even more ultra-nationalist, and would try and reverse any peace accords. But, if I try and be optimistic, it will be younger Russian officers, working with some decent police officers trying to restore law and order, and not really concerned about the outside world. But a forlorn hope.

Any chance we could get Anglian Windows in to renew the Kremlin's double glazing, preferably on the top floor.
