Has been given many times already. Though not in Russia so you won't have access.

War's Hell.  And the first casualty of war is Truth.

Who do I believe?  Those who pushed right up against Russia's border and then chose war when a peace agreement had been initialed in April 2022 - or - those who have now pushed half-way to the Dnieper River and are posed to keep pushing if the global powers (US and Russia as well as China) don't put this to an end.  Fyi - the EU, UK, and Ukraine are essentially irrelevant. This will end when the global power bring it to an end.  Until then.  Well, war's hell. Both sides will point fingers at the other and scream, "War Crimes," but at the end, to the victor goes the spoils.

My guess is that before the end of this year, those with those blue/yellow flags will be using them to dry their tears.

The majority of the American people support helping Ukraine actually.

More Americans think Trump is a dictator than think Zelinsky is.

You have proof or either of those statements?

It's just a pity that neither trump nor musk think like that and both continue to lie to the American public, but then again that's what they are good at and all the while you and your fellow goobers are lapping up their nonsense, you might wish to consider this, not that you will be able to see any sense in it through your tantrums and anger, but give it a try, and if you can't, then take a chill pill and TRY.......

"Negotiations continue amid tensions, with Trump demanding $500 billion, far exceeding reported US aid figures.

The US has given Ukraine more than US$60b in military aid since Russia’s invasion, according to official figures – the largest such contribution among Kyiv’s allies but substantially lower than Trump’s figures.
The Kiel Institute, a German economic research body, said that from 2022 until the end of 2024, the US gave a total of €114.2b (US$119.8b) in financial, humanitarian, and military aid".

No prizes for guessing where the extra money he is demanding will go, given his past reputation as a grifter and a felon.

I'm done fighting the disinformation today. I told myself I wouldn't jump I to this sub forum but I saw a post or two in the bottom of the threads I was reading/ commenting/ creating

I would like to say to all those not dealing with reality.

All of you use the same vitriolic, hyperbolic language and appeal to emotion.

All of you are dead wrong on this Ukraine issue AND ALL THE OTHER nonsense.

EVERYTHING you grown adults post here is WRONG.

Have some humility, but also know you have no respect from people centered in reality.

Keep crying ladies - just keep it off the subforum

Your tax dollars crippled the Russian army and has saved the Ukrainian people left in free Ukraine from being subjugated, raped and murdered by the Russian psychopath.

Keep scrubbing your rose-tinted reality goggles with course-grind sandpaper.  You'll shine them right up.  I don't know what planet ya'll live on but man, your sources of information truly suck. Spewing obvious nonsense and then repeating it over and over doesn't make it true.  But you blue and yellow lovers definitely keep at it.  Ya'll remind me of The Black Knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

"Oh, oh, I see! Running away, eh? You yellow bastards! Come back here and take what's coming to you! I'll bite your legs off!"

Happening on both sides. Rules tend to go out the window in combat. I knew a helicopter pilot that flew in the Vietnam War. They would get info by taking POW's up in the chopper. After the 1st one was thrown out for withholding info the information flowed.

That is an Urban myth often quoted by "friends of a friend".

Is also said to have happened in every war since Hot Balloons/aircraft were involved in Wars.

"One of the most enduring yet baseless myths of the Vietnam War alleges that communist prisoners were thrown out of high-flying helicopters to induce others to talk. In my 21 years as a U.S. Army historian, I have never seen credible evidence that such an event occurred or that American military or civilian personnel participated in such practices."

Oooh another clever guy.

Yes..

But at least they are clear eyed, reality based assessments drawn from hours of reading daily. BS in political science and history from a top 50 US university

These other posters many of which have huge weekly posting numbers, dozens of hours on the forum weekly - all wrong.

DEAD wrong since forever. Absolute lunacy.

Yeh! All war crimes committed by the US, Britain, Australia etc never happened just as Ukrainian soldiers aren't committing war crimes.

The Ukraine War forum is an exercise in futility.  Anyone who has rationally studied Geo-politics from even a marginally neutral vantage know exactly how the last 30 years in this region have played out since the break-up of the Soviet Union.  But there are those, especially Europeans, Brits, and US neo-cons who simply harbor a visceral hatred of ethnic Russians, and many of those US neo-cons can trace their ancestry back to Europeans and Brits who have a visceral hatred of ethnic Russians.  And their hatred literally spans multiple centuries. This isn't anything new other than handing down that hatred from one generation to the next. This hatred of Russian by their EU counterpart is literally generational.

Hell, the US actually threatens the International Criminal Court when Western militaries members are accused of war crimes.  The difference?  US, Britain, Australia etc, including Ukraine are all given a pass by all Western foreign offices as well as their main-stream medias.  According to these people, only brown people and Russians commit war crimes it seems.

Nonsense. During the Glasnost and Perestroika eras many Westerners visited Russia and were  fascinated as it opened up. It was only with Putin and his increasingly totalitarian regime that opinions changed.

The truth does indeed matter, and the appeaser Trump cravenly giving in to a murderous dictator is exposed all over the world.

What does Putin have on the world's biggest liar?

Europe will back Ukraine, along with other Western allies.

Leave Donald no mates Trump to damage his own economy with tariffs, lol.

So in a once in a  lifetime event the USA wants to end a war while others want to continue it. By others I mean politicians and keyboard warriors that are no where near the fireing lines.

The war will end not in years or months but in weeks.

You will be proven wrong yet again.

Wrong about COVID, wrong about j6, wrong about US political dynamic, wrong about the election, wrong about the post election aftermath and you are wrong about the future...

Trump administration will save the US financial system, deregulation will add no less than 1% to GDP which under Biden was propped up by USAID theft. Finally, you are totally, throughly and absolutely wrong about US neocon actions, verifiable US mischief in Ukraine for decades which forced Russia's hand into war.

You aren't correct on any social issue to be blunt. As the cliche goes .. you are entirely on the wrong side of history.

My late sister was as wrong about things as you are. She was once complaining about how life wasn't treating her very well shall I say. I told her - when you make a decision to do something - DO THE OPPOSITE. I would highly recommend you try the same because nothing you say has this least validity in reality.

As for the war I'd ask members to have a look at John Mersheimer and Jeffery Sachs. Both clear headed political scientists who had this tragedy pegged from the get go.

With many people, once they got attached to a theory, it was hard to get them detached. They’d screen out unhelpful facts, invent favorable ones, and ignore contradictions in their own claims. Look at those Sandy Hook, multiple fraud convictions, and Jan. 6th truthers, babbling about false flags and crisis actors and all the rest. When people were motivated enough to believe something, they were going to believe it no matter what. There was no such thing as a bridge too far.

And the Chinese over Taiwan.

What American and South Vietnamese soldiers called the «long walk,» the «flying lesson» or the «flying interrogation» was a form of execution feared by prisoners, as shown by various archival records. For Sachs, it meant: Do not count prisoners when they are loaded onto the helicopter, but only when they are unloaded – so that only those who survive the transport are included in the prisoner statistics.
