Bangkok to Sydney

Planning my first Trip to Australia. What for Airline are you using? Have seen Air Asia and  Air Asia X is very cheap, but not sure if it is worth. There are only two direct Flights with Thai and Finnair/Emirates/Quantas as code share, anybody has used the Business Class of one of this Flights?

I'd fly Thai direct or Cathay via HKG in business. I prefer Thai to Qantas, but Cathay fares are normally very good in business and the extra stop in HKG is usually well timed and the lounges excellent.

For a direct flight I'd pick Thai in business.  I like it, both for the seat and especially the excellent service.  I'd be wary of Finnair in case you ended up in one of their horrendous leased planes from Virgin with the "coffin class" business seats.

Thats a long way to go on a crappy Air Asia plane.  I wouldn't do it even for free.

Strange you are considering either Air Asia, or business class.  Completely opposites.

I would try searching Singapore airlines Premium Economy.  Less than half the cost of business class, but perfectly tolerable.

Air Asia offers Business Class as well and as far I can read they use Airbus A330 for the Flight from KL to Sydney. But most likely I will go for Thai as I want to get a non Stop Flight.

I have used the Airasia overnight from KL to Sydney and paid for their " business class '" with their excellent nearly flat seats.

I always sleep when possible on a long flight and don't miss the entertainment screens, the occasional free drink and so called better food.

I do enjoy the substantial savings over the cost of so called full service airlines who have yet to regain the quality of service that disappeared many years ago.
