I'll bet you were one who was surprised when Biden self destructed during the debate, then surprised again when they threw him under the bus.

You had no clue he was cognitively not there.  Because you only listen to the reporters propagandists on the one side.

The press isn't free.  It was bought and paid for.  Not insignificantly, by our own USAID money.  To spread lies.

Even on the propagandist networks, they couldn't completely hide his faltering gait a LONG time before the election.

I will forever hold talking heads like Michael Steele reponsible for their part in the charade. When it was becoming abundantly clear that Sleepy Joe wasn't up to the job any more and he said on air, "Biden is your candidate - get over it and suck it up" I knew he was a paid shill.

The whole thing was stupid, however, The press act totally different to how they did with Biden. No respect shown, then bitch like a victim when I blows up in their face

The White House has just destroyed the trope regarding "Reputable News Sources" which was used not that long ago as a excuse to censor opinions which didn't fit the "Only exceptable narratives found only on 'Reputable News Sources'."

The seachange that happened on Jan 20th 2025 just swept the legacy media out to sea. That same legacy main-stream media has massively lost viewership and readership to independent news outlets which report on news events as opposed to being little more than attack-dogs for the liberal Left.  And as such, those independents who embrace the journalistic ethic seen in the news media decades ago has returned.  The mainstream media are dinosaurs who are on the verge of extinction.

The judge ruled that the MSM doesn't have a "Right" of access to the White House above and beyond independent media.  In the past the White House chose to pack the press pool with MSM reporters.  Now they are moving to a new paradigm and opening the press pool up to independent journalists and rejecting highly biased MSM reporters who are openly hostile to the new administration.  Fool around - Find out.  Bye bye AP.

But the main reason is they refused to now call it "The Gulf of America."

Petty beyond understanding.

Which given some of the bold and persistent statements you (and others) have made about biased, political and corrupt judges on these forums in relation to Mr Trumps varied and many legal entanglements over the last couple of years is actually rather funny!

Irony at its best!

Well would you like to compare the bona fides and judicial temperament of this Judge and, hmmm...how about that NY judge, you know, the one with the daughter who was a Dem operative? So tell me about how this Judge is corrupt, other than he was appointed by Trump. Hes the only one I recall other than the DC District blatant partisans.

You arent contending  that only Trump appointed judges are corrupt, right? Nobody is that stupid.

That gave me a good laugh. Sad when the inventors if misinformation accuse others. But that's this administration modus operandi, accuse others of what you're doing yourself.

You mean like decrying lawfare while applied Alvin Bragg?

Former administrations have always allowed press with different political views to attend. This administration is filtering any press not completely pro-Musk.

Biden canceled over 400 press credentials

Another Suborned judge. Same thing he is doing now as he fires generals in the military or puts in a new FBI head. He wants people loyal to him, not to the USA. Critical when you are replacing a democracy with an authoritarian state

The left did not care that Obama and Biden judges bent the law to try to put Trump in jail, and are now trying to stop Trump from implementing legal policies.

The left was silent when Biden fired EVERY one of the Joint Chiefs, AND the chairman, and replaced them with sycophants.

Lying, know-nothing, hypocritical, critically thinking high IQ leftists.

The mainstream press has credibility? Hilarious. They shot that wad long ago.

It's a privilege, not a right,  to attend the press briefings or be on the Oval Office/AF1.

President Trump, or Karoline,  can invite or dis-invite who they like!

Right over the head of some. The legal point here is not access per se, it is a pointed retribution for not bending to Trump unilaterally renaming an internationally, long recognized body of water and demanding all of us follow his dictate. My geography study will remain ... Gulf of Mexico. Trump again over reached ... he will soon be gone and the name will remain the Gulf of Mexico. His action here with the name unimportant. If, however he can ban the press for not conforming, a long term precedent.

Can't say that over many years I have noticed a particularly vibrant (declared) female membership on this platform.

You calling for "permanent silence from this creep" does however suggesting that you are trying to drive people off the platform - not because of misogyny but because their views do not agree with yours!

That would not be a good thing for this forum, it would simply turn it into an echo chamber!

I enjoy battling on this forum. I don't enjoy watching misogynistic stupidity spread. And I personally knew four outstanding female members who left the forum due to constant worthless attacks.

It got that bad that they started a private subforum and you had to be telephone vetted to get access as some nutters were pretending to be women.

So really, what you notice is irrelevant.

Pretty rich coming form the side that wants people fired for not calling boys she-her.

The name was changed legally, and the AP wants to defy the change. They are free to keep calling it whatever they like, and they are free to keep disparaging Trump. They just can’t do it from the oval or AF1.

I think the name change was stupid.

The AP used to be not that bad, but it has become hideously biased. Every article drips of contempt for one half of the country.

Are the press briefings not televised? Why can they not watch the briefings and report on them as they see fit?

They can ask someone else to ask their rude, ignorant questions.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

AP reporters can still attend press briefings in the White House briefing room, their exclusion is only from key presidential events, like the Oval Office or on board AF1. There is still freedom of the press!

AP banned from the White House?

Munich 2025

J.D. Vance "accused European leaders of suppressing free speech and censorship."

"In Britain, and across Europe, free speech, I fear, is in retreat."

Hypocrisy much?
