Her boyfriend posts here. In the USA, wearing such a garment would be circumstances that would be considered in evaluating the reasonableness of the use of deadly physical force. In other words, a good chance of getting shot. 1
Gsxrnz Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The Thai woman wouldn't know what the symbol represented or ever heard of Hitler, Nazis, the Holocaust, or WWII. Her other T-shirt probably has a picture of Che Guevara and she thinks it's Bob Marley - but then again, has she heard of Bob Marley? 1 1
CharlieH Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I doubt many under the age of 40 would have any idea or see anything in it.
Harrisfan Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago The woman was about 50. Only about 5 farangs visit that market.

OTOH, you are one of the nastiest and most offensive posters on ASEAN, so you get no pass from me. 1 1 1 3 1 2

As with much in life it's a matter of context. Personally no, Thais wear all sort of T shirts with slogans that are variously nonsensical, laughable or possibly offensive. If it was in a white guy in a pub in the UK it would be a different matter, that you could see as someone seeking to cause offence and confrontation.
Moonlover Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago A villager pinned a swastika flag on the front of his house sometime back. It didn't bother me as others have said, he wouldn't be aware of its significance. In fact an AI overview says: 'The swastika originates from ancient India, where the term "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit language and means "well-being" or "good fortune"; it has been used for millennia by Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains as a sacred symbol'. However, we do occasionally get a visitor from Germany who is married into a family here, so I had my wife explain to our Phu Ya Ban (her nephew) that it might be offensive to him. Sure enough it was moved to a less obvious position. 1
Gandtee Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I attended a house blessing ceremony where the daughter of the host was wearing a Sex Pistols 'Never mind the <deleted>.' shirt. The monks nor anyone else seemed to mind or understand it. Much the same as the woman wearing the Nazi shirt. 1 1
jvs Posted 55 minutes ago Posted 55 minutes ago As long as people do not wear any made in China MAGA gear i am ok with it. 1
connda Posted 23 minutes ago Posted 23 minutes ago Would this offend you? No. Why react to something that is meant to trigger you. You get offended? Success! 1

It wouldn't offend me because what people choose to wear is their business, not mine or anyone else's and is not aimed at me. 1
Briggsy Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago Offend? Probably not. Reinforce Thais as lacking in critical thinking, excessively ethno-centric and parochial and incredibly ignorant of world history? Probably Lead me to instantly come up with a few ad-hoc T-shirt ideas that would immediately set off every Thai within 200 metres? Definitely. (Don't worry I won't do it)
