I'd consider anyone that needs to count their money every day (cos they might not have enough to buy lunch) as a loser.   At 7am I'm out cycling in the jungle and mountains.

Anyone who has time to write and post one idiotic question after another is by definition a loser.

People reading and responding to these questions are more likely than not also in the loser rubric, which would make this a confession.

Striving is overrated anyway. It really depends on what kind of loser you are.

The worst kind are the Trumpian losers. If you are in the orange cult you are beyond hope. Go for euthanasia/reincarnation.

It's a good question.

'Bob' is a tormented soul, and it would be good for everyone -primarily him - if he was to emerge from the dark side and rebuild his character.

Maybe he is a lost cause and he is best left being laughed at.  It's his choice.

Or maybe he is just taking the piss.😃

I spend many hours a day on my computer writing iPhone apps, I take a break now and then and so I look on this site just to do something simple for a few minutes, Bob's comments make me laugh and the people who take him seriously and end up 'fighting' with him make me laugh even more.

It reminds me of the canine world.  It is known that dogs will do anything to get attention from their owners - it's called strokes.  Good owners do stroke their dogs, of course.  Bad owners beat their dogs, but the dogs still come back for more because it is attention from a human.  To an animal psychologist both of these actions are 'strokes'.

It appears that Bob seeks attention, however it can be found, and controversial statements are easier for a damaged personality.  If he is taking the pee, it's a unique way of doing it.  Nope, it ain't that clever.  He's lonely, probably friendless, and definitely not rich (successful people don't have his characteristics - unless he obtained the money in a nefarious way).  Only a masochist would visit this forum so often and consistently fail to be courteous to the members: if it was a private club he would have had his membership revoked a long time ago.

I would really like 'Bob' (or whatever his real name is) to think about his approach and wonder what he is achieving.  Maybe he's the last one to get the joke.

I've noticed in thailand that there seem to be two tyoes of expats : the strivers and the losers.

The strivers can be seen at 07:00 in starbucks on their laptops, usually checking their stocks/crypto wallets to see how much they made overnight.

They are usually well dressed, clean shaven, toned, and look like they have a brain.

On the other hand you have the losers. these are usually fat old balding men sat in the bar at 9am having a beer, watching their lives slowly fade away into oblivion... You can see in their eyes that they have been divorced at least 3 times..

So, which one are you?

regards,

bob.

Neither. I don’t need someone else’s WiFi or coffee shop to conduct my financial biz.

We wake up late, read the news and enjoy our pool Villa far from most all cheap Charlie’s or any bars.

So maybe add “already successful”

Show me a pic of the strivers you describe - they may exist but very scarce.

The real question is - which one are you?

I think we can all guess

It seems he is providing a service, he gave you for instance something to write about (I am not being sarcastic).

For me, as I stated before, I spend hours a day working on my computer writing/testing my iPhone apps and so I take a few minutes break now and then to do something simple like reading the comments here, I find it funny when people react angrily to Bob's comments as for me they are just funny comments.

I know someone who genuinely does have around three hundred million pounds in assets from his numerous nursing homes and other property in the UK, he likes to tell everyone about his wealth all the time and he is genuinely a multi-millionaire so it does take all sorts of people.

If you understood "rich", they have Money Managers as well assistants that fetch their coffee for them.

People in Starbucks don't even realize that they're paying premium prices for shyte coffee.

If he understood 'rich', money would never enter a conversation.  I know rich people (not me) and the one thing they never mention about themselves, is their money, prices, cost.
