That would get done when you do your extension. Still have to have the 12 month bank statement to go along with the credit advices. Just make copies of all of the months that you would need them. My extension is in December and January and February were still FTT codes so I will be submitting advices for March through December

Yes your agent will submit them for you. You are doing the monthly method correct.

You could ask Bangkok Bank for a copy of the Credit Advice Receipt, which should show the origin of the funds. These are free, and some say they receive these via email.    After your twelft

  • I saw the same change from FTT code to TPP code on a friends VA compensation and SS compensation deposits each in a separate bank account at different branches of Bangkok Bank here in Chiang Mai. Bang

  • What you show in the picture is an explanation from Bangkok Bank (stamped and signed) that the code for the transfer has changed. Even though I would expect that immigration understands that, you

The agent with the parking lot across from the airport immigration office has successfully obtained an extension recently using the monthly income method with social security deposits directly into Bangkok Bank showing TPP code, without an increase in the normal fee.

I believe I started getting Tpp codes in February but I cant tell about Jan. There are gaps in my bank book when they update it. I am waiting on a requested 12 month statement so I will kinow better then. I am still waiting on a reply from Immigration about my letter from the bank.  They should do something about this instead of putting more burden on us... But you know how that goes... 🙄

Same here. I just got my print out sent via mobile app email request. The PTT deposits started on March.

After your twelfth transfer, you can ask Bangkok Bank (foreign remittance desk) for a Credit Advice Summary document ( 100 baht) which lists all 12 qualifying foreign transfers

Is that not called an Annual Statement? Transferring to a separate account makes things easier for all parties, me, Immigration & Bkk Bank

No.

It is a document addressed to Immigration from Bangkok Bank, which certifies and details each monthly transfer, gross, net, exchange rate.

Supported with passbook(s)/copies.

Fortunately for me the statements from BKB (in Thai language) are precise enough to show foreign transfer. Good enough for immigration.

  • 1 month later...

I went to my bank branch (the Big Blue bank) this morning in central Pattaya and after multiple requests for the Bank Letter over the past 2 weeks they finally provided it to me.

Just in time as my next stop which was immigration to renew my retirement extension.  In-and-out in 15 minutes and got approved.

I either got lucky or the Bank has changed its policy regarding the bank letter...possibly because of too many customers getting angry and closing their accounts,

Who knows.
