A 19-year-old woman has been left seriously injured after falling from the 14th floor of a condominium in Pattaya in the early hours of morning of 10 March.

Emergency services were alerted at approximately 04:30 and rushed to the scene on Pattaya 3rd Road, Chonburi. Upon arrival, medics found the injured woman in the condominium’s garden area, having sustained multiple fractures, head trauma and severe bleeding. She was given first aid before being urgently transported to Pattaya City Hospital for treatment.

A security guard at the condominium reported that earlier in the evening, the woman had been seen leaving the building with her foreign boyfriend. The couple later returned and were heard arguing. The guard, who was conducting a routine patrol, said he saw the woman standing on the balcony of the 14th floor shortly before she fell, landing on a tree in the garden below.

Police officers from Pattaya City Police Station have since questioned the woman’s Korean boyfriend, who was found to be intoxicated and struggling to provide a coherent account of events.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine whether the fall was deliberate, accidental or involved foul play.
