Popular Post snoop1130 Posted yesterday at 10:52 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 10:52 AM Photo via CIB/Facebook A significant arrest was made in Chon Buri's Bang Lamung district, where a German national was detained for allegedly running an illegal dark web platform distributing child pornography. The operation, executed on March 5, was a collaborative effort between Thailand's Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) and US Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Acting on a Criminal Court arrest warrant issued on March 3, authorities raided the residence of the 54-year-old, identified only as Steffen, a retired programmer from Germany. The investigation initially began after a tip-off from HSI, which had been monitoring Steffen's activities on two dark web sites reportedly used to distribute child pornography over the last three years. Payments for access to this illicit content were made using cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and Monero, with transactions funneled through digital wallets before being converted to other currencies and transferred into Steffen's Thai bank accounts. During the raid, officers confiscated numerous electronic devices, including a laptop, a server computer, and a mobile phone, alongside a storage device containing over 140,000 pornographic files. Additional items seized included bank records, credit cards, and multiple SIM cards associated with the operation. Steffen admitted to managing two dark web sites with over 5,000 child pornography videos, attracting over 10,000 subscribers and generating illegal earnings estimated at 3.5 million baht. He confessed to beginning this illegal activity after retiring and moving to Thailand. Photo via CIB/Facebook The charges against him include possession, distribution, production, and trade of child pornography for commercial benefit. He faces prosecution under Thai law, with the possibility of extradition to face further charges internationally. The investigation continues, as authorities work alongside global law enforcement to identify additional suspects and subscribers linked to this illicit network, reported The Thaiger. -- 2025-03-11 3 4 9 2

Popular Post balo Posted 21 hours ago Popular Post Posted 21 hours ago Germany will not give them a hard time, so let's hope he have to stay in Thailand prison for a long time. If he was a US national he would face a lifetime in jail. Being a German could help him , unfortunately. 9

Popular Post NobbyClarke Posted 11 hours ago Popular Post Posted 11 hours ago He has money stashed so I would imagine a few brown envelopes will ensure a return to Germany. IMO he should spend the rest of his miserable and perverted life in the "Bangkok Hilton". The Thai prisoners will show him the error of his ways. 1 4

So Germany doesn't have laws covering their own citizens engaging in paedophilia and human trafficking whilst overseas? I know we do here in Australia.

What may be lengthy-to-lifetime convictions in some countries may only be 3-months to 10 years in Germany. https://apnews.com/article/germany-child-sexual-abuse-19e743b19057aa7345bf3cba4a8f6fff Article with stats & figures for German pedophiles https://vtforeignpolicy.com/2024/12/germanys-ruling-coalition-plans-to-legally-normalize-pedophilia-and-molestation-of-underage-children/

Condisering the content I think 35 million baht, at mimum, would be a more realistic amount. Maybe hiding the money for his retirment from prison. Yes a deviant cnut, but unfortunately a smart one. The worst kind and a danger to society! It takes brains to set up an operation like this.
SongSomSoda Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Germans are same gods for thais. after they donated tens of millions of Pfizer shots , they literally can do what they want in LOS. Thais never forget and are thankful forever for germoney. He will NOT have a hard time, at all. Not in thailand , not in germany. He even will have his own cell with TV and will be separated form other inmates, with food 3 times a day, after sent back to germany. 1 1
sammyoz Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago The fact that this scumbag had 10,000 subscribers says a lot about what a <deleted> up society we live in. Go after the subscribers too. Burn them all alive! There is no place among humans or animals for these pieces of fkn trash 2

J Branche Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago 5 minutes ago, Ombra said: Why does the policeman have his hand on the bloke's shoulder and not his throat? Probably because the guy is saying "If you tell me where the rest of the money is we can split it, I promise" About Germany, I believe if like this case it seems most of the criminal activity occurred in Thailand possibly/allegedly that Thailand would take lead processing the crime. Money in Thai bank account, server possibly in Thailand, says he has been doing it after retiring and moving to Thailand for 3 years. After his possible jail time I guess he would be deported for the crime and working on a possible retirement visa.

Sydebolle Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Yet another reason to put pedophiles, like rapists and drug dealers up the wall and get the firing squad over. You will not undo what he did but you will prevent such sickos doing anything like this ever again while saving a lot of taxpayers money. Unless, of course, he gets suicided in jail - not unheard of either ............ 1
