Probably because their outward physical aggression is only toward other Asian nations that border China.

That seems sort of geopolitically short sighted.

Well, I read a book called Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China. (banned in China)

That changed my outlook.

Lunacy abounded in CCP China, like chopping down all the trees and plucking up all the grass and flowers because it was deemed 'bourgeoisie." Shuttering tea houses too. Just mental.

The author is of course persona non grata in China.

I suppose the Loony Lefties get off on denying simple pleasures to normal folk.

You seem to believe that ',,,,like chopping down all the trees and plucking up all the grass and flowers because it was deemed 'bourgeoisie." Shuttering tea houses too. Just mental....' is 'leftie'. Really.

Did you actually think this out for yourself, or just copied some dodgy AI troller app output and not even read it? None of your points seem like an advert to like Russia, the opposite in fact. And BTW, its not lefties screaming, its anyone with an ounce of common sense and decency.

Who says I like Russia?

In your visceral hatred of Americans and MAGA supporters, you DELIBERATELY twist/ignore what I say and what I have said in the past.

Here let me make it clear for you: Russia is scumbag. China is more scumbag because they are powerful. So why all the screaming about non Socialist weak dictator vis a vis Socialist strong one?

Im starting to think is the fact that many on the so called "Left" give China a pass.

No, it has nothing to do with "Socialism", which I think you don't understand anyway, as you forever label non-MAGAs as "socialist",

I noticed you stayed far away from the topic here postulating that there is no essential philosophical difference between Socialism and National Socialism. Good move on your part

I was in China in 2017, everything seemed very peaceful and relaxed.

I walked all over the place on my own, nobody minded.

Maybe your book was set in the past.

Cultural Revolution time.

Socialism requires enemies at all time.

You asked a question and I gave you my opinion which mirrors China actions.

Nothing geopolitical or short sighted about it.

Plenty of business's and governments are concerned about China's covert action on spying and intellectual property theft but western countries (which I believe you were referring too) and their masses are not impacted as China aggression is toward asian countries that border them.

In the long view China is a huge threat militarily as they have stated blatantly on numerous occasions that their long term preparions are war will be with democracy and the USA

Please share a link re your last paragraph...

Same... been to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzen, and several other big / medium size Chinese cities many times on organizational projects from 1 week to 3 months.

Mostly stayed at 4 star hotels (my choice), lobby / concierge staff always very keen to help, always plenty of English.

Never once had any reason to be concerned about safety / security 24/7.

Many times local folks (mid ages / high school kids) asked politely, in full English, if I needed any help. Taxi drivers always helpful (often with instant contact to their office).

Plenty of polite help at railway stations, in coffee shops etc.  (mostly speaking good English.)

Very clean streets etc. Good food everywhere...

Potemkin village though.

I have no issue with the Chinese. A peaceful nation who have not been in a war since the 1970s.

Nice people and some beautiful women.

Manila might disagree together with Taiwan .

Look up The Night of the Sparrows, part of Mao's Four Pests Campaign. The Chinese tried to eradicate the sparrow because they feared that it ate their grain. According to Wikipedia: "Sparrow nests were destroyed, eggs were broken, and chicks were killed. Millions of people organized into groups, and hit noisy pots and pans to prevent sparrows from resting in their nests, with the goal of causing them to drop dead from exhaustion. In addition to these tactics, citizens also simply shot the birds down from the sky with slings or guns. The campaign depleted the sparrow population, pushing it to near extinction within China."  As a result, the insects that the sparrows helped control ended up getting out of hand and enhancing crop and ecological damage.

They clearly are a country that is willing to forcibly take action to pull back territory that they feel should be part of Russia again.

I wouldnt say boogeyman man but if they scare you then you can go hide out under your bed

"Why is All the Hate Towards Russia and Not China?"

They will never explain this to you. But the reason is that an elephant can only compete with another elephant. An elephant cannot compete with a dog or a cat. Russia is the only country in this world that has enough nuclear weapons to wipe America off the face of the Earth. So America has only one possible competitor. And competitors in any area known to hate each other.
