Thai PM Responds to US Visa Ban Uncertainty Amid Uyghur Deportation

What are the odds Thailand would ban US tourists in response? Has this ever happened? I have no interest in debating geopolitical affairs and focus on trying to get along with people in my neighborhood here in Bangkok. But this flare up has me wondering if they'd ever try to boot Americans out of Thailand? My wife and I (US citizens) have Thailand Privilege visas. We visit the USA every few years but if I had to choose one country to live the rest of my days it would probably be Thailand.

What genocide? Oh, you mean that made up American propaganda. I didn’t realise that educated people in this day and age still bought into that bs. Maybe it’s only the uneducated ones that still do.

Doesnt know what genocide is..

A bit rich coming from the land of clowns complaining about deportations when they themselves are making a show and dance of deporting people.

I hope the idiots give the Thais a visa ban, then Thailand bans Americans from Thailand.

I wouldn’t miss them and I doubt many others would either.

Bring it on.

You missed the point. There’s a difference between asylum seekers persecuted back home and criminals/economic refugee opportunists by-passing the proper immigration channel.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Ms Paetongtarn stressed the absence of official confirmation regarding her status on any restricted list, saying, "There's no confirmation yet. I still don't know."

She should be banned as she must have given the green light for the deportation, or at least fully aware of it and decided not to stop it.

Either way guilty

I wish the US would put me on their ban list. I wouldn’t visit even if you paid me. Mass shootings every day, filthy streets and even filthier subways and crumbling infrastructure.

America still thinks it can tell everyone what to do. They are in for a rude awakening very soon.

I lived in the USA for three years I never came across what you have described in your remarks and my work took me to 35+ states during that time maybe I had my eyes closed maybe you should take a trip to London  the UKs Capital that place is far worse than anywhere I came across in the US

Being geographically knowledgeable, Thailand sent Chinese nationals back to China. This is not like sending Venezuelans to a completely different country like El Salvador.

No more citizenship for those grifters then.

Nobody wants to have a US citizenship with the orange clown at helm. Only Venezuelan and Colombian criminals US are migrating to your inner cities. What a mess.

The US has become the first  NATO country with 3rd world status. 3rd world medical care, income inequality enormous, infrastructure on par with African countries, 3rd world crime statistics, and so on. An empire in decay!

GDP is just statistics, Musk alone holds 200 billion, so many others live in slum like conditions.
Examples, Skid row, trailer parks, slums in inner Miami.

How is the Fentanyl crisis in the US? Flakka? High school shootings?  Street safety in Chicago?
Nice country.
