Your poll was rubbish with loaded questions and you know it...

One of the questions was

<< Yes, I am competent to drive after having a few, but I don’t drive when blind drunk >>

Which can mean someone drives after two beers and is within the limit - but they answer yes because there was no other valid option...

You keep quoting this 78% and quoting your home ball BS poll to justify your own drink driving after 10 beers which is 'drunk driving'....

Typical hypocrite-cockroach behavior claim the moral high-ground against misbehaving Brits while being one of the worst and knowingly could kill someone through your actions.

A few means 3 or more.

But with beers “I am having a few beers” usually means 8+ in modern drinking language.

If someone said to me “I am going out for a few beers” most people would think it was more than 2.

Anyway, I did a real life survey last week out in the field and the figure was 100%. Not a single person called a taxi.

You can carry on like a Karen all you want Richard but that is the reality.

Anyway I have cut down my drinking lately. From 10 to 6 bottles.

I find the bigger bottles are better value.

And you're like a spoiled teenage boy who doesn't understand restraint and respect.

Oh, it's you again.

Haven't you got better things to do.

Get off your keyboard mate, you're in Thailand, get outside enjoy yourself, stop being a pest.

With all the things going on in the world today, how does this even make the news?

It didn't really...   It make social media, picked up by a small news outlet and linked here because this is a 'Western Centric' source of information and thus information such as this is likely to draw attention....

Take thailand and there were probably numerous situations in bars and restraints last night - stabbing, shooting etc...  fights etc...  but Thai on Thai doesn't really capture the interest on forums such as this so coverage is less likely.

Yes, they didn’t have his choice of alcohol which is what set him off.

It was clearly written in the OP.

Your reality is different from mine.

Quite likely because of the area's you frequent.

Out of a group of 20 last night...  one 'rode home' after 2 beers, everyone else took Taxis / Grab / Bolt - (most if not all also have their own cars)....

The results of your 'real life survey' are like that because you are hanging around with like minded chancers, scum and inconsiderate cock-roaches....

You must be too stupid to know how to call a taxi.

Seems like the only ones that look at me as a pest are those others look at as annoying, prejudiced trolls. You have a nasty habit of trashing foreigners, and a lot of us take it personally, especially seeing you stick up for locals, which is okay if they're doing something right but not if they're breaking the laws, and make excuses for them when they do. Remember, you're also on your keyboard, annoying others besides myself like a gnat that you just can't catch.

Yep, I read that...

Which seems a very 'odd thing' to kick off about...     So the guy was either mentally unhinged and a total idiot (quite likely).

OR... as we keep finding out here... there is more to the story that is not initially reported....

In fact its becoming more and more common here to read stories that are one sided and we find out something else happened and we only see a video of the end result.

You never consider this as you really dont want there to be any other possibility and lack the critical balance to intelligent evaluate the possibilities of various situations...   You want to 'bash the Brit' so this serves you perfectly...

... If this were a situation reversed, you'd be blaming the Brit and laying the accusation that he must have done something to avoid the Thai's....   then follow up with a comment "nice people the Thai's"..

Brit was a complete idiot - I'm just putting it out there that there may be something more to the story than the type of beer available...

And its painfully obvious that you believe exactly what you are fed...

Here you are fed the 'conclusion of a confrontation' and blindly believe whatever is reported as fact...

You have no critical thought.

--------

In a previous story there were two seperate reports about a Brit and a Thai having a conflict.

You completely ignored and dispelled the side where it was reported the Thai motorycycle rider collided with the Brit and attacked him using his motorcycle helmet as a weapon - instead chosing to side with the 'poor Thai victim of an an attack' as that side was also reported...

when questioning "there must be more to this story" you started levying accusations of "Farang apologist" .... because your myopic mindset can only ever see 'bad farang'...

You have no intelligent critical thought and simply lack any ability to bring any balance to a discussion....

I'd also agree with giving him a warning - but not reviewing his visa is somewhat of a 'hangem high post'...

if you had of bothered to watch the link and read the comments from Thais you would see comments such as “Get out of the country, why are you even here?”

These sort of Brits that like to carry on and are in conflict with the locals make it harder for us decent ones.

What was that story about you getting into an incident with Thais before again?

See... Your anecdotal 'survey' is real... anyone else is false if it doesn't fit your bigoted rhetoric...

This is why your comments are always so flawed....    your delusional bias blocks any ability you could have to evolve a critically intelligent balanced mindset.

Both this incident and the other incident you mentioned were on video.

I don’t find this sort of behavior acceptable.

You are always jumping in to apologize for it and twist it to be the Thais fault.

If I had been at either incident the rude farangs would have been knocked out.

No ifs no buts.

The Brit was clearly a dick...  but the behavior is hardly cause to revoke or not renew his visa...

I'd say someone caught drink driving is more deserving of such a response.

Apparently he has indulged in this kind of behaviour before, if you read the post in its entirity:- "Locals from the area, familiar with the British national and his Thai wife, echoed sentiments of previous insults hurled by him in past interactions." and obviously hasn't changed his spots! He should try that kind of behaviour in the "Family Friendly" resort and see what the reaction of the locals is there!

Sure... any time there is a conflict like this, of course people will shout slurrs...

Wait until you hit someone with your car while drunk - you will be told the same thing... hopefully it will happen.

"US" decent one...  Do not tarr everyone with the same brush as a vapic cockroach bigotted drink driver - there is nothing, nothing at all decent about you and decent folks would object to any association.

...  Your posts prove it without any doubt the shocking measure of your character.

It contradicts you previous story when you claimed that you have police connections which you use to get your Thai friends off drink driving charges.

So I hope you can understand our skepticism when it comes to your stories.

Drunken ayholes who can't change their behavior, just like drunk driving ahyoles...

They should be dealt with - particularly if repeating offenders.

Richard won’t believe that because it doesn’t suit his victim narrative

Are you going for idiotic comment of the day...

Because I happen to know a few people who have sufficient influence to help in a difficult situation then all those around me are free to act with complete disregard for the law...  Such a dumb response only you could provide us with such an example of logic disconnect.

Those who don't drink and drive don't avoid it becase of the police - they avoid it because they are not scummy vermin cockroaches with complete disregard for society around them.

Back to the story - maybe this guy was a scummy vermin with complete disregard to those around him, he certainly behaved like it...     pigeon holed right next to you...

Simple yes or no answer.

Have you used this supposed influence before to get friends off drink driving charges?

You won’t answer.

Got to go...   Enjoy the sparring Malky...   Better things to do now...

Do the world a favour and when you do drink drive tonight, ensure you don't hurt anyone and only hit something solid and inanimate.

I never hurt anyone drink driving.
I am very safe, drive well below the speed limit.

Now get back to work.
