You should have called the waitress, explained to her she is a rude person and made your experience unpleasant, and that is why you are leaving.

Educate her. Before you leave.

Otherwise she may have just thought you had to to to  an appointment for alcoholics anonymous.

I did.

I told her that her attitude was disgusting.

Ive never had a problem with any server anywhere in SE Asia. Every one is obsequious, sometimes overly so.

For sure she understood your comment and took it to heart. 🤣🤣

Some of these Thai staff are getting ruder

I agree. A few days ago at Gateway Ekamai, a couple of young guys were collecting donations. They asked me on the way into the bathroom, and again on the way out. I waved them off and kept walking, until one of them said, "Oh, you don't like to help sick babies, right?" I stopped and told him he had poor manners, and his eyes nearly popped out of his head.

Your worst restaurant experience was much better than mine.

The worst restaurant experience of my life was with very polite people from Slovakia who came to Phuket to open a restaurant in Rawai. They opened a restaurant in a place with few tourists, cooked a lot of food and put it in the refrigerator. Since there were no customers, everything went bad. But the smart Europeans decided that it was too expensive to throw it all away - better to sell it to someone. I had a very hard night after visiting this place. After some time, the restaurant was closed.

so on a pub street, it's a policy not to serve people who have had a drink??

I just don't get it.

No, they probably just don’t like having retards in their places, but are to polite to say it to your face.

It's ok, no worry.

I'm the one with all the dough.

Whilst they scurry about all day on minimum wage in the scorching heat...

tra la la la la, tra la la la la...

But you are being pumped full of cum by ladyboys.

I would rather serve non-retards food personally.

Is it just me or is anyone else concerned about "Bob's" metal health state. From his continuous posts about this that and the other many of which seem to be not entirely true, got taxi because no phone to get a Grab, taxi no seatbelt in the back, took picture of this being a standout. I do wonder. Being an expat can definitely have a significant negative affect on some people's mental state. Hope you're ok Bob. Really mate this isn't the place (AN) to be seeking attention.

If you were passed around like a hot potato by yaba addicted ladyboys I would think your mental health would not be the best either.

If you behave towards servers they way you respond to posters here on AN then I am not surprised!

I dont think you know what obsequious means LOL

"obedient or attentive to an excessive or servile degree."

Obedient

Attentive

Sevile

Wow. You should think before you post LOL.

Good job, I hate being accosted by these do gooders in Big C. I was actually nice enough to stop and make a donation after paying for shopping, I said I would donate 200 Baht, when one of the two teenagers tells me "a sack of rice costs 1000 Baht". I instantly regretted making any donation at all. The cheek!
