German Attacker of Dentists in Korat Found Dead with Slashed Neck

Sounds unlikely for murder to me, he did this already months ago so if the victim family wanted revenge that was done already. Besides the fact the police now actually does wanted to find and prosecute him. So i guess it is a mental dude who then did suicide.

Seems local mafia bumbed him off... R.I.P... have peace...

For what motive after months while he now actually was getting his court already. Makes zero sense timing wise.

Suprised he hadn't already been deported

The advantage of having a non o for marriage. You get treated like a Thai for crimes, no deportation.

Some years back an expat swam out to a buoy off Pattaya, tied himself to it and slashed his own neck. Every armchair expert said it was murder. They found the suicide note written to his partner. I believe this to be a suicide also.

If he was murdered, I wouldn't be surprised. The Police wouldn't do anything decisive about him, so maybe others took action instead.

This guy obviously had serial mental problems.

Should have been arrested and deported since long.

Slashed neck is not a typical suicide method. No knife found?

Someone decided to make an end?

Knife for suicide is not the usual, but depending on his mental state, not a big surprise. But for this to be murder especially in that locale, unless it's unrelated, that's a question. The part about the guard dogs suggests that no one would have gotten close enough. But who knows. I have a mental illness which I manage, so these things are very sad. I don't have a Thai partner, I often wonder how a Thai person would respond to mine, would they be capable of understanding my ups and downs, though they are not particularly severe. RIP.

Slashing of the body is not uncommon for the mentally ill.  They can hack their wrists, cut off body parts and yes, cut their own throats

Sleepy Korat. People go mad due to boredom?

Or they were already oredisposed to mental illness and the illness followed its natural course.

The guy needed help. Many people have mental issues nowadays.

It has already been reported that he had been offered help  in Germany and declined. He chose not to take his medications and he chose to enter Thailand.  Had Germany attempted to stop him, it would have violated his civil rights, and Germany did not share his medical information with Thailand because it would have violated his right to privacy. The responsibility actually rests with the spouse who did not report him to the  Thai authorities. They could have forced him to return to Germany, or  prove that he was on his medications to avoid deportation.
