Certain types of mental illness sufferers are very hard to treat as far as them staying on meds. Schizophrenia and Borderline Personality Disorder are two which, because when they on medications they think they're OK enough to go off of the, then when they go off them and become symptomatic, it's because they're once again delusional that they don't go back one. That's one scenario that I've witnessed personally, and I also have a friend whose son is in the same boat.

From a distance, the story seemed to have the feel of moderate level, semi-violent Schizophrenia.  That the Police released the man, without several days of observation baffles me.  Looking at his past, and its consistency (lack of), I would have expected further incidences of some sort.

But you must need quite a lot of underlying sadism to do it as a career I'd have thought...

555 ... You've obviously never had a good dentist ...

I've often wondered what would make anyone want to be a Dentist...

I think it’s more likely a suicide than the recent Joe Ferrari case.

WHO report that there are 700,000 suicides each year and that somewhere between 11200 and 21000 deaths occur by knives or similar sharpe instruments each year.

Seems quite heirs to be ABLE to manage to bite a female dentist on the lip, I can understand managing to bite the face, but the lip?

What is really sad is the many on this forum who find amusement in the misery of others.  In truth, it speaks more about their own miserable lives.

The terrible thing is that foreign psychopaths like this man, demage the reputation of all farangs in Thailand. There's no way a Thai person will divorce his toxic violent behaviour from his farang status in the Kingdom. Sad.

It's a great profession for someone who can focus on details and likes the bio sciences. My dentist is one of my best friends.
